She nodded, "Well, it's okay. Megan is okay. Our baby girl is okay."
"Can we please go home?" Sky asked, her voice small.
"Yes, Sky." He gets out and drives home slowly, his hands shaky.
Sky keeps a hand on Liam's shoulder the whole ride home.
Liam lets out a shaky breath, glad for the support. He parks and gets out slowly, looking like death.
Sky slowly unbuckled the babies from their car seats.
Liam moves to Mason, getting him out and waiting for Sky, not wanting to leave her alone.
Sky grabbed Megan and got out the car. She took Liam's free hand with hers.
He squeezes it tightly, opening the front door for her.
He walks in behind her, feeling like collapsing.
Megan had fallen back asleep so Sky brought her to her bed.
Mason was also asleep and he put him next to Megan, looking over at Sky.
Sky began to cry again as she collapsed into Liam's arms.
He cried with her, rubbing her back and wrapping an arm around her waist, holding her up.
He sighed and held her tightly, unable to cry more. He picked her up slowly and began walking her to their bedroom.
Sky smiled a little through her tears as he carried her. She wrapped her arms around his neck.
He felt her smile and sighed, being careful not to drop her. He opened their bedroom door, shut it and laid her gently down on the bed, crawling in beside her.
Sky sighed softly, "I just wanted us to go to the park."
"I know, I know," he mumbled, feeling bad that the one time they decided to do something, this happened.
She sighed again and snuggled into him.
"It's all okay," he whispered into her ear, wrapping his arms around her.
She nodded slowly, "I love you, Liam."
"I love you too, Sky," He looked down at her, pulling her even closer.
He sighs, relieved and closes his eyes, feeling comforted with her.
Sky, surprisingly, falls asleep slowly.
He falls asleep shortly after, snuggling close to her.
She wakes up from a nightmare, crying, but silently.
Liam stays sleeping, feeling the bed shake slightly, but thinking that she was just getting up for something.
She calmed herself down and got up to check on the babies.
Liam stayed sleeping for a while longer, not realizing she'd really left.
Sky stood in the babies room and just watches the both of them sleep.
