Lillian smiles, "I'm sure he will."
She nodded and smiled, her tears slowing down. Clerk Guy softly led Sky to the back to get the dress and veil off. Sky walked back out in her regular clothes with the woman with her dress and veil packaged up behind her.
Lillian grinned, remembering when she did this. "I came here to get my dress," she tells Sky. "I remember it, I cried just like you," she says, laughing softly.
Sky smiled and hugged her tightly, "I love you, Lillian."
Lillian hugs her back tightly, "I love you too, Skylar. You're really gonna be my daughter. Who would've thought?"
She gasped, "I can finally call you Mom and it would actually be TRUE!"
Lillian grins, "It's just a technicality. You've been my daughter since long before you were engaged."
She giggled as Clerk Guy comes back with the dress and veil ready.
Lillian fights a shriek, but the squeal comes out. "Yayayayay," she says, overly excited.
Sky laughs and thanks Clerk Guy. "Let's go! Now we have to hide this from Liam so he isn't tempted to peak at it." She said as they as walked out of the bridal shop.
"He would..." she says, knowing him. "Hmmmm, where should we put it. Also, honey... who are your bridesmaids?"
Sky frowned slightly, not knowing how to answer her question. She decided to avoid it for now, because she honestly did. not. know. Sky already had the idea of Lillian being her Maid of Honor, but she 1) didn't know if it's okay with Liam and 2) if Lillian would want to be her MoH. Sky ignored the question by getting into the car and fastening her seatbelt. "Maybe we can build a secret compartment in the closet just for the dress." She joked.
Lillian doubles over, laughing. "He's probably gonna search the entire house. He's going to love it."
She laughs harder, "Maybe I can threaten him with something he would miss.."
Lillian raises her eyebrows, "pft- yeah okayyyyy Skylar."
Lillian smiles and says, "Do you wanna go back to Liam?"
She smiled and nodded a little, "Yeah, but if you wanted to stay out for a while longer we can. I'm sure he's handling the babies fine now that they're napping." She said, checking the time to confirm it was indeed naptime.
"It's okay... I can drop you off with your hubbby..." Lillian said, poking Skylar's side.
She giggled softly, "Thank you Lilliannn!"
Lillian giggles too and soon later, they're at their house.
She turns to Lillian and gives her a long hug once they get out the car. "Thank you." She whispered.
Lillian smiles, "Of course, Daughter."
"I'll see you soon, Mother." Sky said, smiling.
Lillian grins and drives away, waving.
Sky waves back and watches her drive away before almost running to her apartment. She unlocked the door and walked in, "Liam!" She whisper-screamed, "Honey, I'm home!"
Liam immediately quietly runs to her, kissing her, laughing.
She giggles and kisses him back quietly. "We found it, babe." She whispered.
"mmm" he says, "I'm sure you did."
She smiled and ran her fingers through his hair, "It's so beautiful. I can't wait for you to see it."
He nods, his hands in her hair, "I'm sure you'll look gorgeous, as always."
She kissed him again, having missed him so much in just the two hours she was gone.
He grins, pushing her against the door, kissing her passionately.
She kissed him back just as passionately, smiling against his lips.
"I missed you," he whispered, her still pinned.
"I missed you too, baby," she whispered into his ear.
He shivers, whispering, "I knowww" before biting her ear.
He pushes off the door, not knowing if she was sore or not, walking away, before he did something dumb.
She smiled a little bit, hiding her disappointment. "How are the babies?" She asked as she put her purse down.
"Sleeping. They'll probably be out for a while."
"I get you allll to myself!" She said, giggling a little as she walked into the kitchen.
He laughs and follows her saying, "Oh yes you doooo."
She laughs and turns around and winks at him as she grabs a banana from off the counter.
He laughs and shakes his head, watching her.
She began to eat her banana and jumped up onto the counter.
He raises his eyebrows and hops up next to her, having missed her a lot.
Clerk Guy comes up and smiles, "Oh my goodness! I think our bride-to-be has found her dress!" Sky looks at him as one of the women from earlier brought over a veil (view spoiler)[
