She shakes her head, "My life isn't ruined, Liam." She said softly. "Yeah, we're 18 and have two children, but I love our life. I am happy, and I'm excited for the next 18 years. Why? Because I want to be with you as we watch the kids grow up and become their own person. I want to be with you, for better or for worse. Until death do us part. No matter what."

He keeps his eyes trained on her. "You love this?" he asks surprised. He nods, "I want to be with you too. Forever. But are you ever going to trust me? We can't be married if we can't trust each other. Hell, I don't trust myself anymore."
She nodded, "Yeah. I love getting the kids up... I love changing their diapers which is weird, but I can't help it.. I love asking Lillian to watch them and then feeling the thrill of being able to spend hours alone with you. I love it all." She took a deep breath and thought about it, "I think it's going to take time, Liam." She said after a moment, "I want to trust you. Badly. But I can't trust you fully if you don't trust yourself."
He nods, "I- Should we move the wedding? I don't want to. But we can't. We can't do this if we can't even look each other in the eye without feeling guilty. I feel guilty. I'm just a mess, Sky. And the name thing? That was just plain cold. You're Sky to me." He looks down, "I love you, Sky...I really do."
She sighs and nods, "We should move the wedding.'' Sky tries to look into his eyes, but he was looking down so she just watched him, "I don't want to either, but we have to. Liam, I love you, so much. I'm sorry, I was cold and harsh when you were crying and trying to explain this to me."
He looks up at her, meeting her eyes for a moment. He couldn't do it any longer. He could see the pain in her eyes, written all over her body and aches inside. He gets up, "I should go. I'll send Lillian over. I'll be back, okay? I promise. I just... I can't be here, with us like this."
She nodded and tried not to let herself think that he was lying and that she'd never see him again, because she knew it wasn't true. He would come back. When? She didn't know. "Okay." She whispered, her voice full of sadness.
"Sky, I promise. I swear." He hugs her gently. "It shouldn't be more than a week. I'm not leaving you. I'm not leaving you. Lillian will be here and you can talk about how horrible of a guy I am. We just need some space." He pulls away from her and gets a bag of clothes, crying as he takes some of his stuff away from hers. "I'm leaving sweatshirts in case you want them, I know you love that. I'll be back." He hugs her again and kisses his head, tears still trailing down his cheeks.
She watched Liam pack his bag with tears running down her fast constantly. She nodded, "Where are you going to go?" She asked softly during their hug, holding onto him tightly but gently.
"I don't know," he whispers. "I'll find somewhere. It'll be okay."
She starts crying harder, "Please be safe." She whispered, "Please come back." She whispered even quieter.
"Sky, please." He starts crying. "I don't have to leave. I can't leave you like this. I just don't want it to make it worse, us being by each other. I could stay. I could take one of the babies, if it'd make it easy. I swear to God, on my mother, that I'll come back. I could never leave you like this. I could never leave you period."
She shakes her head and holds him closer, "Please don't leave." She whispered, "We need you. Here. Please," she continued, "Stay with me. Us."
He nods and drops the bag. He whispers, "I don't even know if I could've made it out of the door intact. I could never leave you, even if it wasn't really leaving."
She nodded and sighed in relief, "Thank you." She whispered, her tears slowing.
"I'm so sorry Sky. So sorry." He cries into her shoulder, self loathing.
"I'm so sorry too, Liam." She whispered, the tears speeding up again. "I love you, Liam, I love you so much."
He sniffs, "I know, Sky. I know. I love you too. I'm so dumb. I risked everything for what. I thought I was protecting you, but this just hurt you more. I should've told you, you're right."
She sighed and looked at him in his eyes, "You told me now." She said quietly. "It's better then never telling me at all, you know?" She softly raised her hand to his cheek and wiped his tears, "It hurts, but it's okay. Because we are going to go through this together. Together."
He swallows, his Adam's apple bobbing. He reaches down to wipe her tears. He doesn't have anything else to say. He laid his forehead on hers, keeping his eyes on her, looking a mess.
Sky looks into his eyes, filled with sadness, regret, guilt. She took his hand softly and whispered, "Lets go to bed, Liam."
He nods, taking her hand, every part of him a mess.
She slowly leads him to their room and lets go of his hand as she climbs into bed, exhausted.
He lays next to her and says, "Can I hold you? Is that okay?"
She nodded and moved closer to him, wanting to be held in his arms.
He lets out a breath of relief and wraps his arms, gently around her, holding her close.
He kept his arms around her, unable to sleep.
Sky didn't stay asleep long and woke up, crying from her dream.
He gasps and turns her towards him, "Sky.... are you okay? What happened?"
"The.." she whispered, crying, "A d-dream.. i-it was.." She took a breath, "I woke up one day and y-you were g-gone and the b-babies were d-d-d-dead." She said, bawling again.
He cries with her saying, "That's never going to happen Sky, I promise."
She continued to cry, "I know, it just felt so real."
"I know, baby, I know." He kisses the top of her head and holds her tightly.
She stops crying and looks at him. She smiled a little, having missed hearing him call her baby.
He lets out a breath and looks at her. "I love you, baby."
"I love you too, baby." She said, looking at him.
He smiles slightly and holds her tighter.
She relaxes into his arms and lays there, thankful he stayed.
"I'll never leave you," he whispers in her ear.
She smiles and whispers, "Thank you. I'll never leave you."
He smiles and falls asleep, knowing she was safe.
Sky smiled and slowly and softly kissed him before pulling back and falling asleep.
He smiles, perfectly content.
Its the next morning and Sky just woke up.
Liam's still asleep, having slept fitfully the entire night.
She smiled peacefully and didn't move, watching him sleep.
Eventually, he rouses, having felt her eyes on him. "Hey, baby," he murmurs and then gets a look of horror when he remembers what happened yesterday.
She smiles and whispered, "Hey, baby," She watched his face transform into a look of horror, "Babe, it's okay.'' She whispered, putting her hand on his cheek.
He swallows and looks at her, eyes tearing up already.
