She smiled and closed her eyes, not hesitating for a second.

He gets on his knee and pulls out a box and opens it, smiling hard, says, "Sky, look at me,"
Sky opened her eyes and looked around, confused, until she looked down to see Liam on one knee. "Ohmygosh," she whispered, her mouth covered by her hand.
He smiled at her, saying, "Skylar Robbins. When I first met you, I just knew. I saw you in that hallway, in that classroom and it was like my eyes opening for the first time. Skylar, you are amazing. In every single thing you do. You pulled yourself out of the darkest place in your life, by yourself. You've sacrificed so much for me. And I love you so much I can't even put it into words. But I'll try. To me, you're like my oxygen, I'd die without it. You're my good morning and good night, the chills I get when you whisper in my ear. You're the person I want to see every day for the rest of my life and I'll fight like hell to make it happen. Would you please, Sky, make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" He looks into her eyes, seeing the good times and the bad times, the fights and the dates, the sex, the crying, the babies, the hard times. Everything. He sees it and wants her in his life forever. He doesn't care what it takes. He doesn't want to live a single second without her anymore.
Before he started his speech, she stood up, which she had gotten better at during the days after her birth. "I- yes!" She says through her tears. "Yes, of course." She said, putting out her ring finger for him. "I love you, Liam. So much."
He starts crying, a total mess of emotions. He gently gets the ring out of the case and slides it up her left ring finger. "I love you too Sky. So much more than you'll ever know." He picks her up bridal style and twirls her once, being careful. He puts her down and kisses her gently but passionately. "Forever and ever, Sky. I mean it." he mutters against her lips, smiling like an idiot.
There had been nurses listening outside of the door and as Sky kissing him back just as passionately she could hear them clapping. "I've always loved you. From the second I met you." She said, smiling Liamly times one hundred.
He sighs against her lips and pulls back (sadly) saying, "My fiancée, everybody!" Smiling too brightly, Skylarly being off the charts
Lillian walks through the door and says, "Wow."

Sky gasps, "Lillian!" She kisses Liam really quickly before running and crashing into Lillian with a hug, "I missed you."
Lillian holds Skylar, really tight. After a long time, she pulls away and says, "Megan and Mason," she looks at Liam, "I'm so happy you picked Megan." Then at both of them, she practically sings, "AND YOU'RE GETTING MARIEEIEEEED??"
"Megan Lily and Mason Asher," Sky said, smiling, thinking about her babies. She laughed and showed Lillian her ring, "Yes! He just proposed, well. He just got on one knee." She said laughing and taking Liam's hand.
Lillian squeals. "It's so beautiful!!" She hugs both of them grinning from ear to ear.
Sky laughs, remembering them talking about Lillian squealing earlier and hugs her back.
Liam grins from ear to ear, content. He pulled Skylar's hand up and kisses it, saying, "I'm so honored to be your husband." He shakes his head disbelievingly.
Skylar looks at Liam, with just as much emotions in them. She gasps a little bit and pulls out the hug, "Lillian! The babies! They are so cute!"
Liam grins again saying, "Mason has her nose and Megan has my eyes. They're like the perfect combination of us!" he hugs Sky's waist tightly.
Skylar leans into him and says while grinning like an idiot, "Want to see them?"
Lillian claps her hands and smiles like an idiot, "YES!!! Is that even a question?!?!"
Skylar laughs loudly and mutters "One second," she goes over to the nurse that complimented Liam and asked to see the babies. The nurse said, "Of course, honey, congratulations on your engagement. The way he treated you, I thought you two were already married."
Liam hears what the nurse said and blushed brightly. He lightly small talks with Lillian, excited to see his babies again.
Minutes later the nurse comes back with another nurse and the two babies. They instruct them to go inside Sky's room for privacy and when everyone was settled the nurse who complimented them asked, "Which one, honey?" To Lillian.
She tears up, thinking about her name, "Megan Lily Peterson, please." The nurse gently hands her Megan and Lillian starts full on crying saying, "She really does have your eyes, Liam."
Liam squeezes Sky's hand and rubs Lillian's shoulder, "I know," he said softly.

Sky squeezes his hand once more before being handed Mason. "Thank you," she whispered, to no one in particular. Her life had changed so much in the past 10 months, all for the better.. all the heartbreak.. all the pain.. led to this moment. She couldn't have asked for anything better.
Liam, perfectly content, watches Mason and smiles. "And it all began that one day in the hallway..." he whispers, reminiscing. He looked over at Megan and whispers again, "Look where we are now. I love you, Skylar Robbins."
Skylar was about to respond when they heard a knock on the door. One of the nearby nurses opened the door, "It's a young man." She said. Skylar looked at Liam, confused, "Soccer buddy, maybe?" She suggested as she nodded to the nurse to allow him in. Holding flowers, Chad walks into the room. Skylar tenses up instantly and brings Mason closer to her.
Liam gets a tad bit violent. He grabs Chad by the ear and pulls him out saying, "What the fuck are you doing here. She doesn't want you here and I sure as hell don't. How the HELL do you even know? We didn't tell anybody."
"Ah, chill out man. My mom works here. She saw you two the other day and thought we was friends." He shook his head and runs a hand through his hair, "Look, I'm sorry about what I did. I know it ain't much, but I just wanted to say that. Ma said you two got engaged too. I just wanted to say congrats."
Liam turns away, trying to control his anger. "What you did was unforgivable. Even if you were pissed, Sky doesn't deserve that. No matter what she did or does, she doesn't and will never deserve an asshole to walk over her like you did. And following us through the hallway, yelling shit? She was already down and you kicked at her. Good luck, Chad. But thanks, for the congrats, she'll be helluva lot happier with me than she will ever have been with you. Have a nice life, asshole." Liam walks back in and closes the door, wanting to cry.
Sky hands Mason to the nurse for a moment, needing to comfort her fiance. She hugs Liam, holding him, knowing what Chad does to him. "What did he want?" She asked, whispering.
Liam grits his teeth, still pissed. "To say congrats," he states, angry about having to see him after how he destroyed Sky.
She sighed and pulled away, "Don't let him get to you, babe, he isn't worth it." She said, holding her forehead against his.
He gazes into her eyes, "I know, he just fucking destroys me. Everything he's done..." he leaves his forehead on hers, smiling just slightly at the gesture.
"It's okay," she whispers, "He doesn't matter. At least he didn't try to start something by coming."
He takes a deep breath and says, "I fucking love you Sky" full of passion and honesty and angst. He loves her. In his darkest moments, his points of no return, she's there. Always has been, it feels like.
She smiles and says, "I fucking love you more, Liam." She made sure to keep her voice low, but even though it was quiet it was full of love and care and so many other emotions.
He grips her tight, unwilling to let go. "You're the best part of me."
Sky smiles, "You are the only part of me, Liam.''
Shivers ravage through his body. He breathes her in and sighs, she smells like home.
She smiles and their surroundings appear, she hears Lillian cooing with Megan, she hears Mason making baby noises. "I can't wait to take them home," she whispers, "You three are everything to me."
He nods, hearing them. "The nurse said that by the end of today, after a final checkup on them and you, that we can leave."
She gasped, "Really?" She asked, excitedly. "I didn't know that."
He laughs against her shoulder, "I know... it was a surprise. I wasn't supposed to tell you. Oops."
She laughed, "I'm going to remember never to tell you anything important again." She joked, smiling, she was obviously lying. She would tell him anything and everything.
"Don't worry baby, I'll keep everything hidden for you." He grins, pulling away from her shoulder, looking her in the eyes.
She laughs a little bit and gazes into his eyes.
She feels herself blush before turning around to seeing Mason now in Lillian's arms and Megan asleep in the nurse's arms. She leans back into Liam's arms and watches with a smile.
"I love you, baby," he whispers into her ear, already knowing she was blushing. "It looks like they've got it handled. Wanna go somewhere?"
"I love you too, but what if something happens?" She asked, turning around to look at him, her eyes filled with worry. "Nothing can happen to them, Liam."
He looks into her eyes, seeing the internal struggle. "Sky, you've got momma hormones going through you right now. You want to protect them, I understand. But, right now, they're in a hospital full of trained people if, God forbid, something were to go wrong. It's okay. They're okay."
