He immediately grinned, happy to see her. "Hey baby," he says back, so happy for her to be awake. She looked well rested.

She smiled Liamly, "How are they?" She asked, groggy, referring to the twins.
He smiled Skylarly right back at her, "They're doing amazing. You want me to ask if we can see them?"
She nodded excitedly, "Yes!" She exclaimed.
He laughs, and calls the nurse, the one that had complimented him. "Hey, she's up and wants to see the babies. Can we?"
The nurse of course says yes and minutes later, Liam's asking, "Can I hold one? Do you want Mason or Megan?"
"Megan, my baby girl." She decides after a moment, smiling brightly. She was sitting up in her bed, awaiting the arrival for her babies.
He smiles, loving the maternal side of her. "Okay, whatever you want baby..." He kisses her cheek and watches as 2 nurses bring in the babies, gently setting Mason in his arms. Mason coos at him and Liam's heart melts a little.
As the nurse places Megan into her arms, Sky fell even deeper in love. She was beautiful. "Hi Megan," she whispered to her baby, "I'm momma, I'm your momma." She said, rubbing her fingers on Megan's stomach. She kisses Megan's head and holds her, watching her baby girl.
Liam looks at Mason, at his tiny little body. He tickles him slightly kissing his stomach. "Hey, Mason," he mumbles. "I'm your dad. I'll love you and support you no matter what. Even when you make bad choices, I'll be here. Me and your momma." He starts to cry, realizing the sheer weight of everything's that's happened. Between that night and then the twins, her agreeing to marry him. His heart was overwhelmed as he smiles at Mason again, looking at Sky after his speech.
Sky whispers more to Megan. She memorizes this moment, knowing she never wanted to forget it. She hears Liam mumble and she smiles, "That's your dadda," she whispers to Megan, "He's the best man I've ever met. You're so very lucky to have him," she whispered, starting to cry a little bit.
He looks back down at Mason, pointing him towards Sky, "You see that beautiful lady? That's your momma. She's lit up my world, caught it on fire and now we have you and your sister, Megan. That's right Mason, you didn't come into this world alone. You have a twin sister, a best friend, all built in. If you ever need someone to talk to me and Megan and your momma will always be here. We'll do our very best to do the best we can to help you." He looks at Sky and whispers, "We've done so good," laughing slightly.
Sky laughs a little bit, looking over at Liam before glancing down at Mason. "They're ours." She said, disbelieving, "How could I ever have even thought of adoption for a second, Liam? I would've disappointed an entire family. I wouldn't have let them go." She said, watching. Glancing from Liam to Mason then back to Megan.
He gently sits on the side of the bed, wrapping a soft arm around her and says, "I know." he smiles, "This is our world now. And I wouldn't trade it for anything."
"Never ever," she said, smiling, leaning into him. "Hi Mason, I'm your momma," she whispers to her baby boy.
He lightly touches Megan's cheek. "Hey Megan... I'm your dadda," he says smiling like an idiot. "I love you," he says to Sky and then to both Megan and Mason, "I love you guys too."
"I love all of you so much," she said smiling. The nurse comes in and coos a little bit before breaking the bad news that they had to take Megan and Mason back to the infirmary. Sky frowned and kissed them each on their heads.
Liam kisses them too and says, "I'm sorry Sky."
She watches as the nurses take them away, "For what, Liam?" She asked, snuggling with him, missing her babies already.
"That they have to leave," he says, kissing the top of her head. "Just wait a few more days, then they're all ours!!" he says gleefully.
She laughs, "Yay!" She starts thinking about what happens next. She knows having the babies at home would take up most of her time. She started imagining Liam moving out, well technically the both of them moving out as Sky had stopped paying for the hotel room months ago, figuring the savings account would be a better use of it. She imagined them moving into a home not too far from Lillian and Jackson, but close enough. She imagined their wedding.
He sees her eyes lighting up, "What are you thinking about, baby?"
She smiled, "Us. The future. The babies future. The babies." She said, looking up at him.
He smiles Skylarly and says, "Sounds like the best time ever. I can't wait, for all of it."
"I can't wait to be your wife." She said, smiling Liamly. "I can't wait to watch the babies grow up. I can't wait for Lillian to meet them, see her face, you know?" She shook her head a little bit, laughing, "She would probably squeal."
He grins, "I want it all. And you're right, Lillian is going to squeal. They're just too cute." He whispers, "I didn't know the two of us would be so cute together."
She felt herself blush, "They're so adorable. Like, honestly, cute overload." She said, turning so she could whisper in his ear, "Megan has your eyes."
He still feels the goosebumps, even now. He smiles, "Mason has your nose..."
"I bet Mason is going to have your freckles," she says, kissing them.
He blushes, "And I bet Megan will have your beautiful hair," he said running his fingers through it, knowing she loved it.
She sighed, happy to feel his fingers in her hair. She instinctively put her hand on her stomach before realizing there was no point in that anymore.
He laughed, smiling brightly, "It's okay. Now they're with us." he said, kissing her stomach softly before leaning back, next to her smiling Skylarly.
She laughed, "Good. I love them so much, but carrying around 2 8 pound babies was painful."
He smiles, "I know. I wish I could've taken one for you," he said, sighing.
She burst out laughing in picturing a pregnant Liam. "You would've fainted during labor." She joked.
He acts all haughty, "Nah I can be a womaney man," he says laughing hard... "It would have been worth it, to spare you pain. I'd take anything for you Sky, whether it be a bullet or worse. I'd take it all."
She smiles, knowing he was telling the truth. "I love you Liam," she says before kissing him on his mouth.
He kisses her back, probably a little harder than he should. "I love you Skylar." he says against her lips with a sigh.
She smiles against their lips before putting her head on his chest.
He grins and says, "We have kids," like it's hitting him truly for the first time.
"We have kids." She repeats, grinning like an idiot.
He sighs, "You're such a good mom. I see it already. They're going to be the kindest, gentlest, most passionate kids to walk this planet, Mason and Megan."
"You're an amazing dad. I can tell just from the way you were talking to Mason." She said, smiling. "The kids and I lucked out with you."
He smirked, feeling a bad joke coming on, "Couldn't have done it without you," he winks, badly. He wraps her arms around her slowly and carefully, kissing her cheek.
She laughed and and relaxed against him. "I think that's the first time I've ever seen you smirk, Liam Peterson."
He grins, "Sorry, Skylar Robbins, I just had to. That joke-" he trails off, laughing way too hard.
"I mean, you aren't wrong." She said, laughing too.
He smirks again, making a point, "Believe me, I won't be forgetting that anytime soon."
"You better not." She said, laughing at his smirk.
He stops, finally out of stupid jokes and just smiles at her, completely in love with every little thing about her. The way she held her stomach when the twins were there, the way he kissed her and laughed with his stupid jokes, the teasing the handholding the reassuring words. He loved it all. He loved her so much. He gets off the bed and says, "Close your eyes," having saved the greatest moment of all for this.
