Liam brushes her hair from her face, wanting to see it.
She knows she looks horrible. She knows there are tear stains and snot and her eyes are uncontrollably puffy. Her lips are still swollen, another reminder of why this happened. She keeps looking at him though, knowing that he would never judge her.
She sobs into his shirt, soaking it. She's mad at herself for being this much of a mess when it's his father in there.

She looks up at him and says, "Okay, I'm sorry." Clearly it was still killing her inside.

She pulls away and says, "You should go in there."

She sat down in one of the waiting room chairs and replayed his words, accepting that it wasn't her fault. It wasn't their fault. They made decisions and he stood by them. She would stand beside him in those decisions. She heard him say over and over, "It's okay. It's not your fault. It's okay." She healed, waiting for him to return, wiping the last of her tears. She froze. Where was Lillian? She immediately pulled out her phone and called her.

Skylar breathes and says, "He's fine and awake. I'm sorry. I took your one way to the hospital right? I'm coming to get you right now." She left a note on the chair where Liam had been sitting and took his car, arriving to pick up Lillian.

Skylar was driving, distracted, a million thoughts crashing through her mind. She turns a blind corner and immediately is thrown back by the impact. Liam's car flips multiple times, Skylar seeing stars and feeling blood run down her face. She blacks out, the last thing she hears is her own screams.

"Ma'am do you know a Skylar Robbins?"
She stood up, "Yes. Is she okay?"
"No ma'am. She has crashed in a wreck. Her phone was thrown out of the car and I was on a walk. I already called the police. I saw the entire thing. We are on ~street name here~. The car flipped multiple times."
Lillian didn't even say anything. She didn't have a ride but she would run to Skylar. She ran out of the hotel and started down the road to get to her.
Skylar is conscious in her brain. She's in extreme pain especially in her right leg. Her head throbs, in something way worse than just a concussion. Her left arm is most definitely popped out of place if not broken. She has a large piece of glass sticking out of her stomach. She attempts to scream in her brain, but nothing comes out.

Skylar feels hands on her inside her brain. She tries to move, to speak, but she can't. The pain is too much. She hears a scream. She wonders if it's her own.

((I DIND'T WNAT TO I HAD TO AND NOW I'M SOBBING LEAVE ME ALONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE))
Skylar thinks she hears Liam. Liam. Liam. She freezes and wonders what happened to him. To her. Where is he? She wants him here. She needs him. She hears Lillian, very faintly. She feels her finger twitch, hoping Lillian sees it.

Lillian gasps and grabbed her hand, "Hey sweetie, hi, it's Lillian."
She hears Lillian's voice and tries hard to talk, to open her eyes, anything. But she can't.
((IT NEEDED TO HAPPEN SO THEY REALIZE THAT LIFE ISN'T JUST LIKE FOREVER. IDKDKDKDKDKDK. I'M SORRY DIRECTED AT LIAM. ))
She hears Lillian. She uses all of her strength to squeeze her hand, just slightly. She feels herself moving again. She thinks she hears another scream. She thinks she hears Liam. She's sobbing inside, from her pain and the pain that she's causing others. She still isn't exactly sure what happened.

She hears a lot of people talking and feels the little pinches, but no pain. She's in shock so deeply that she doesn't react when the doctors check her reactivity to the light. She decides right then and there she didn't care what it took. She didn't care if it nearly killed her. She would be coming back to Liam. She wouldn't give up.

--the surgery happens--
A few days later, she wakes up, in extreme pain.
A few days later, she wakes up, in extreme pain.

She sees Liam and immediately smiles even though she was hurting. She whispers, "Liam. Baby, I'm awake." She squeezes his hand.

She laughs slightly, wincing at the pain it came with. She starts crying, "I'm so sorry."

She wants him to be closer but she knows it'll hurt. She moves over on her bed slowly. "Will you lay with me?"
((LIAM YA SO STUPID))
She turns it off ((bc I said so)) and smiles, facing him.
She turns it off ((bc I said so)) and smiles, facing him.

She immediately tears up. She swallows saying, "I was right on the line. When you're there... they kind of give you a choice. If you're going to fight for life and hold on for the people you love or if it hurts too much and you want to take your chances with death..." She looks at him, the tears free flowing, "I couldn't leave you Liam. I stayed for you." She looks down, embarrassed for what she wants to say. She whispers, so softly she doesn't know if he'll hear it, "I love you. I know you said we're going to take it slow and everything but Liam, I. Love. You." She knows it like she knows she needs air to breathe and food to survive.

She cries with him, his words tearing through her. She brushes her hand across his cheek. "Aww, baby you should've gone to school. I was going to be okay. I would never leave you. Not ever." She hears him say the last part and says, "You are my everything too. You're the best part, the person I wake up wanting to see, the person I want to fall asleep next to. Liam, I think that you're it for me. I think it's only ever going to be you." She hugs him tightly, showing him that she was okay.

She lays in his arms, crying and laughing at the same time. "I knew it was you from the moment you picked me up from the hallway. No one else would've even cared. They would've laughed. You're special. I need you. It's not even a want anymore. I don't think I could live without you. Let's never fight again, okay?"
She smiles inside thinking back to the way they had started.

"I love you too. Always and forever, Liam Peterson." She smiles, whispering.
She falls asleep against him, finally at peace.
She hears Liam and smiles again, so happy to be back.
She finally looks up at him, some of the shame gone.
