He nodded not really knowing what to say. "What about now? Are you happy for you now?" He asked, still gazing into her eyes. Not sure if he could ever look away.

She nods, not trusting herself to speak. "A lot changed after everything you said. I stopped depending on everyone really, except Lillian. I suck it up and deal, I eat, I don't cry, I'm me, I guess, but not really, not like I was. I'm so different. You might not want this version of me," she says, looking away, breaking the spell, unable to look at him as she said those words.
"Skylar, that's amazing. It's a good different, though, unless I totally misunderstood you. To me, it seems like you're a new and improved version of the Skylar Robbins I knew a month ago." He said, softly.
She gets chills from him saying her whole name. "Can I hug you, kind sir?" she says, teasing him, being formal.
He pretends to think for a moment, "Hm, I think the royals will allow it." He replied, in a formal voice, teasing her.
Without second guessing herself, Skylar closed the gap between them, hugging him tightly.
He hugged her back tightly. He had missed this. He closed his eyes.
She keeps her eyes tightly closed. She has her cheek on his chest, breathing him in, missing him more than ever.
Liam continued to hug her tightly. He was so thankful for Miss Anglemyer in that moment.
She looked up at him, smiling her Liam smile.
He pulled out of the hug, slowly. He regretted it almost instantly. "I missed you." He whispered.

She hugged him again, not thinking straight. He had pulled away, she thought as soon as she did it, why else would he pull away if he didn't want to?

He smiled to himself as he hugged her back. He decided they were going to hug until she pulled away.
She holds him so tight, not ever wanting to let go. He was so warm and she so cold as she shivered against him.
He felt her shiver and wrapped himself around her more, trying to help warm her up.
She was aware of everyone staring having watched their passion fall a month ago. Now here they were, her almost in tears, hugging in the middle of the hallway. She pulled back, saying "We've been standing here for a long time,"
He had forgotten where they were. "Should I walk you to algebra?" He asked, remembering that her first class was math.
She smiles and said, "Of course, kind sir, what an honor," she said, clearly teasing.
He laughed and held out his arm as a joke, "Right this way, madame."
She held onto his arm, laughing more in those oh 30? minutes than she had the entire last month.
He continued to laugh as they walked to algebra. "We have reached our destination, madame." He said, in the same teasing voice.
She smiles at him and hugs him one more time, looking him in the eyes before standing on her toes to kiss his cheek gently. "Thank you for the escort, kind sir." She blushes from head to toe, waiting to see what his reaction is.
He feels himself blush from her kiss. He smiles the private smile from the cafe and says, "Anytime, madame. Enjoy your time in this mathematics classroom." He says, laughing at how ridiculous he sounded.
She sees his blush, causing her to blush even more. She gave him her Liam smile and waved goodbye, knowing she looked like an idiot, accidentally shoulder checking the wall, as she was not paying attention.
He laughed and waved. He had walked away before she ran into the wall so he didn't know.

She sat through Algebra II, not at thinking at all about xs and ys and zs more like Liam. Just Liam.

Liam sat through chemistry not thinking about the periodic table but Skylar.
When the period was over, she was unsure if it'd be okay to walk up to him so she waved again with her Liam smile, deciding that he could stop and talk if he wanted to.
He walked over to Skylar, "Hey, how'd algebra go?" He asked her, wondering if she focused better than he did in chemistry.
"I couldn't focus at all," she said not wanting to tell him it was him that had been on her mind the entire time.
She Liam smiled him, "Nope, not at all." She thinks he knows why.
"I wonder why," he said, slightly sarcastic, and teasingly.
She blushes, hard. "How did you focus, huh?" Knowing full well he didn't
"I didn't." He said, laughing, "Not one bit."

She gasps, "Was it perhaps a certain someone?"

She laughs and says, "I was too."
He laughs too, "Who were you thinking about?" He asked, pretending like he didn't know. He hoped it was him.
"Hmm... let's see. He's honest and handsome and funny. He has this smile he only uses for me. He's..." she says Liam-smiling.
"Hmm, who could you be talking about, hmm?" He asked, smiling a bigger and brighter version of the cafe smile.
"Hmm... he has these awesome board games in his room and he smells like amazing. No matter if he hasn't showered or is sweaty...He has an L in his name..." she gasps, "wait you do too!" giggling uncontrollably, knowing she was being stupid.
Liam was laughing harder than he had in a very long time, "Oh my goodness! Me and this guy are so similar!"
She smiles at him, getting quiet, still not quite comfortable with him. "Of course it was you, silly, it's been you." she says this just barely, whispering.
"It was you too, silly." He whispered, looking at her with a smaller private smile.
She smiles looking at him so happy with her Liam-smile
Liam smiled his own Skylar-smile. It was the cafe smile.
she shakes her head at him and says, "Can I ask you something, I'm just curious, not complaining."
