What went wrong is that the book wasn't entered as Kindle format. Fixed. I also added the cover.Presuming this is your only book, I have moved it to a new profile.
Hi Scott. Thanks heaps for that. Yes it is my only book. Are you also able to please remove the kobo and stores link (they go to the wrong pace and my book is only on Amazon) and add the above Amazon link to buy? Thanks again for your help. Mark Reynolds 😊
Mark wrote: "Okay thanks. I'll have a look and set up my profile. Have a nice day. Mark"Just as an FYI, your personal settings don't have anything to do with the stores that are available to click for your book. Each user picks which stores they want to click. Basically what you have already discovered, that the book shows on Amazon but won't on other stores, is how it will always work.
Okay thanks, Emily. I couldn't remove Kobo or the book links button. However if I click the Kobo button, it takes me to another book called Firestone. Can I remove that link somehow? Thank you again. Mark
Here is the page where you can change the links that appear for you on each book page. But again, they are not specific to the book; they will appear on every book page, regardless of where it is available.https://www.goodreads.com/user/edit?f...
Hi, my new book Neurostones is linked to the wrong Mark Reynolds account. Could you please advise how I can fix it and link it to my account and first book Firestone? Thanks 🙏
Mark, you can claim your author profile by clicking on this link to access the application. Complete the information — including selecting your books from the list provided — and then submit the application. Be sure to select your books on this application to avoid delays in getting approval. After the staff has completed their review, they will upgrade your current reader profile to an author account and send you an email confirmation. This might take a few business days, depending on staff workload, so please be patient.
Once your claim is processed, you will be able to make certain changes to your books, including combining different editions of the same book. You'll also have the ability to choose which edition will be the default — that is, the one that comes up in searches by title and shows on your author profile.
See The Goodreads Author Program for more information.
Can anyone tell me how I can update the Goodreads copy of the cover image on my book Firestone? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MCWV6PXThanks, Mark
Mark wrote: "Thanks Dobby. I thought I already had an profile??"You have a user (reader) profile. If you click on my picture you will see it is the same as mine. If you click on Stephen King you will see it looks different.

We don't remove covers, as readers like to shelf the edition they've read. Rather, we create an Alternate Cover Edition. I've created the ACE here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...
After you get your Goodreads Author status, you'll be able to add an ACE yourself. In the meantime, you would ask for a new ACE edition to be added by posting in the Adding New Books & Editions folder. (Since I've already created the ACE, you don't need post a request right now.)
One other thing you can do after your Goodreads author status is approved would be to designate the default edition — that is, the one that comes up in searches by title and shows on your author profile. Since you can't do that yourself just yet, contact staff and ask them to do it for you.
And I see that your author status has been granted. Congratulations! You can now set the default edition of Firestone yourself. Here's how to do that.
