madrano | 23670 comments I love # 8's side comment, Black Hole. This is why i have yet to purchase eBooks. How folks manage to remember they own those books is beyond me.

There are some interesting books listed, Alias. I'm sure this is achievable given your book discipline. Good luck!

Being incredibly indecisive, I consult my Kindle and Audible lists often enough to have an idea of the contents.

Alias Reader (aliasreader) | 29386 comments Thanks, Deb. I do want to come up with another book to make 12. You would think that would be easy. However, it's proving difficult.
I still have a few days to select something.

John, my old Kindle I could make folders. It seems that isn't so for the Kindle Fire. That really helped me organize my books. So now many books just fall off my radar. Of course I could scan the list of books on my Kindle. It really isn't too many as I only purchase books if the are around $3 or less and my library doesn't have it.

John | 1944 comments You should be able to create Collections on a Fire.

I used to be able to do it on my old kindle. But the Fire doesn't seem to support collections. I love my Kindle Fire, but for a person who likes/needs organization, this is a disappointment.

When I google the question I am seeing answers like this.

"No, the Kindle Fire models do not support collections. You can add content to Favorites, and you can remove content from the device and keep it in your Cloud, but that's about it."

Alias Reader (aliasreader) | 29386 comments I decided for my twelfth book I would read the classic
Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck

Though I've read other Steinbeck, somehow this one I've missed.
While searching many Best Books lists, I see this one often selected.

I'm truly surprised, but there seems to be a difference between Fire and Fire HD.

madrano | 23670 comments Alias, that Steinbeck is a terrific choice. I've read it a couple of times and have seen numerous iterations in film/tv. Enjoy!

Alias Reader (aliasreader) | 29386 comments Good to know. I don't know why I haven't read it before. So many books, so little time, I guess.

madrano | 23670 comments As i went through my private TBR lists, i realized i have plenty for that list already. So, this may be the easiest of the survey-like forms scattered about my desktop!
