We know that in MB 2 (well of ascension) Vin finds out about Aluminum and finds the alloy of it Duralumin. What if there is another metal or metals to be found with more powers? On the link I listed there was talk on the forum about maybe finding a metal that augments someone else's power (like an External Duralumin) and another that inhibits someone else's power (like an External Aluminum).
Also we have this strange metal the Elend takes at the end of MB 2 which appears to make him an allowmancer (mistborn). Is there also a reverse of this that can take away allomantic powers.
I think it makes sense but I don't know if Brandon will bring out anymore new metals.
I think that Brandon Sanderson will give us at least one more new allomantic metal. In the back of mistborn, there is a metal reference chart. It only has eight metals on it, the basic ones. At the back of well of ascension, there are twelve metals. The chart is shown in a three-quarter circle. So, if we follow patterns here, we need another full quarter to the circle. I'm going to assume that this last quarter will consist of duralumin, aluminum, and the mystery metal that makes allomancers. That leaves one empty spot for Brandon Sanderson to fill. I'm eager to see what it is.
I would guess the last metals externally push and pull another person's metals- either literally (the ones yet to be burned) or the power gleaned while they are being burned.
I saw some evidence of this power when Vin fought Marsh at the end of HOA- she was able to use his spikes against him while she was burning the mists. (hide spoiler)]
On www.brandonsanderson.com, theres a poster that has all the metals and explanations of the metals (including undiscovered ones) but i cant get it to show up as more than a thumbnail, so i cant figure out how to read it without actually buying the poster

Any thoughts?
