Sophie | 8 comments So I've been in this group for a while and I check in periodically, but I'm not SUPER knowledgeable about it or anything. I've alway genuinely wondered and finally just thought I'd ask-- do you have any system for dealing with books that actually turned out to be movies / fan fiction / not a book at all?

I don't know how often this happens, but I've at least seen this twice where people have added the details and plot to a post, genuinely believing it's a book they read until a reply points out that it's similar to a movie plot and then the OP realizes the story was actually a movie. I assume you've worked out a way to deal with this, but as a casual member who's curious and doesn't know how to find the answer, I'm hoping this topic is the right place to ask (sorry if it's not!) Do you just put these into 'solved' or somewhere else? I think it might be cool to be able to scroll through posts that have turned out to be movies mistaken for books.

Sophie, I moved your request to the "Just to chat" folder.

We would probably move it to "Just to chat." We wouldn't move it to Solved because Solved is for books.

No. The focus of this group is forgotten books.
