Kiara laughed. "Well I'm sorry it was so awful." She kissed him on the cheek. "Feeling better now?"
"I would if it was on the lips." He smiled mischievously.
She looked at him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Fine, but only because I love you." She kissed him.
"I love you too." He said before he kissed her back, holding her and bringing her closer.

Kiara was so happy when she was with Corpes. He was so...wonderful.
Interestingly enough, whenever Kiara and Corpes are close like this, embracing each other, he can somewhat see through her mind, unconsciously searching for any darkness to feed on...but there's barely anything there. Like the unicorn, or whatever it was, he felt a Light feeling from her, but he did not hate this Light. No, it was a warming feeling. A feeling he loved more than Darkness.

After Alvay’s done checking her wound, Biana finishes up eating and passes some food over to Alvay, “Here. Eat.” She looks out one of the windows, “What are we going to do today?”

Kiara pulled back. "Feeling better now?"
He put a hand on her cheek. "So much better."
Kiara looked over his shoulder and frowned. "Uh, what the?" The unicorn was standing there, chilling.
Corpes flinched when he saw the unicorn.
"What the fuuuuunnnneellcake?" He remembered the fact that Kiara was a Christian and would not tolerate cuss words.
"Dude, can't we get just a TAD bit of privacy?"

"I'll kick him out." She shooed the horse out the door. "And stay there!" She shut it again.
"Oh brother." He shook his head. "That gave me a fright. How did he come in here without any of us detecting his presence?"
"Well, he is a magic horse unicorn with wings, maybe he walked through the wall."
Corpes faced palmed. "That's too cool. And too powerful." He then grinned. "So am I."
"Yes, you are very cool and powerful, but what about me?" She flopped down again. "I can't do anything cool except get into terrible situations."
"You're an amazing and violent girl that holds her own during a fight. Not to mention a perfect damsel in distress."
"Aww, do you really mean it?" She sat up and wrapped an arm around him.
Corpes grinned. "Every word of it, princess."
Kiara bumped her forehead against his and looked into Corpes eyes. "Goodnight, stable boy."
"Goodnight, Your Majesty." He looked back, and even in one eye Kiara could see his love for her.
Kiara saw and loved him right back. She moved to her side and pulled up the blankets. She reached out and took his hand.
He raised both their hands in the air as he climbed into bed. "Don't think this will ever grow old."
"Nope, and neither will we if we don't find that lodestone." She lay her head on the pillow.
"Yeah, maybe." Corpes yawned, laying on the same pillow as hers.
Kiara drifted off relatively fast. She was tired. She had weird dreams about Corpes riding horse and killing dragons while she was stuck in a tower trying to escape.
Corpes, a selfish villain, dreamed of a pitch-black room and him eating the darkness. That was a pleasant dream.

Corpes was already up, brushing his teeth.
