*Alvay moves down to her leg, and pulls the ointment out of his bag, and applies it to the leg.*
Book wrote: "Kiara hung her head. "I'm sorry" she whispered. "I'm sorry I acted like such a jealous idiotic moron.""
Corpes hugged Kiara hard. "But you're MY moron. I forgive you, Kiara, and proud that you made things better. Sorry I was yelling at you, but it was tough love. I can't help you get better if I don't tell you the truth. Just remember the key word: love. And I love you."

Corpes kissed her forehead and then looked at Biana and Alvey, smiling.
"Guess...I'll take you to bed. You still need rest from those burns and that fight, y'know. Can you walk?" Corpes said as he helped her up.
"Not good enough." Without another word, Corpes picks her up and carries her in his arms.

Kiara wraps her arms around his neck. "I'm not too heavy am I?"
((Beats me. LOL. I guess it's the oldest trick in the book.))
Corpes looked down at her. "Course not...and your clothes...they're a bit ripped. Almost...revealing." He looked away, ashamed. "We should probably get you new clothes sometime later."

Corpes always felt embarrassed when Kiara looked at him like that. A look that read total love and devotion, and it all seemed too real to be true. Yet here he was, living the dream, and loving that very same girl back.
His eyes were still looking away, but he could not help but smile as well. "Yes...definitely."

"Yeah...let's go." He smiled and said louder to the others. "We're taking our leave. We'll see you guys later!"

"I was about to say something similar." He said, refusing to look down--and to be honest, it was taking all his strength. "I was wondering if you thought it was okay for me to heal her. And be honest."
Corpes laughed. "Sorry that I can't be your personal doctor, Ki. But she's in real bad shape. And I still won't put her lips on mine, okay?"
"Between you and I, I bet her lips will taste disgusting, anyway. That fire girl's lips might taste like charcoal, for all I know!" Corpes laughed, opening the room door.
"You...taste like a Paradise," Corpes said, finally looking down...temporarily.
Corpes set her on the bed and he took off his coat. "Wear this for the time being...I can't look at you like this..." He said, blushing.
"Uh, no problem." Corpes looked at her and smiled nervously yet gratefully.
"Sleeping already, huh? I know I said you need to rest, but eating dinner is also good, you know?" He was making sandwiches for the both of them.
Corpes places her sandwich on a plate and walks up to the bed. "Here you go, Ki. To make it easier on you, we can eat on the bed."

Corpes sat with her. "If the place has metal doors, magic mirrors, dragons, and sorcery...surely there'd be peanut butter. Too bad we didn't find jelly,"
"Indeed." Corpes smiled and took a bite out of his sandwich, staring at the mini libaray. He remembered the time when Kiara asked him if he liked books, and he automatically said no,
“Hey. You ok?”
