Kiara searched and quickly found a trapdoor. "This is where they would store the food, underground." She pulled open the door and went in. It was dark, but she could still see pretty well. "Whoa! We might as well just live in here! Look at all this."

"What's in it?" Corpes looked inside the door.

*Alvay saw Biana blush. He wondered why, then realized he was basically on top of her. He blushed, and quickly got off.*“Umm. Sorry about that.”
*He quickly looked around the room. Trying to avoid looking at her.*
"Basically everything that doesn't need to be kept in a refrigerator."
"Sick! Grab everything that's good!" Corpes got a giant sack from the kitchen and brought it near.
Biana was tomato red and she sat up. She looked around too and stayed quiet, wondering where the other two were.
Kiara stuffed as much food as she could into the bag and tossed it up to Corpes. "Catch!"
Corpes caught it. "Nice! Let's get out of here!" Corpes lend out a hand to get her from the trapdoor.
Kiara pulled herself up and landed gracefully on the ground. "Alright, we need to leave now before she gets here with more guards." Kiara started for the door.
"On it! Let's go! And keep off those heels already--they'll slow you down." Corpes was behind her.
Kiara kicked off the tortuous shoes and raced for the door. She opened it and listened. She could hear running footsteps. "We need to hurry, someone is coming!"
"Then let's go!" Corpes said, running, but the bag slowed him down.
Kiara grabbed her bag, dug through it, and pulled out two daggers.
"Who's behind us?" Corpes yelled.
"I don't know, I can't see anyone yet!" Kiara cranes to see and finally shouts. "Its three guards! We can take them!"
Corpes stopped and set the food bag down. "You're in for it now, you fools! You have any idea on who you're facing?"
Kiara grins. "They're about to find out." She spins and throws a knife with deadly accuracy into one of the guards shoulder.
Corpes let one near him and then he punched the guard in the stomach and then a right hook to the face, knocking the guard out.
Kiara took in the last guy and smashed the hilt of her dagger into his face and kicked him where is really hurt. He groaned in pain and crumpled to the ground. Kiara shrugged. "They obviously didn't know who they were messing with."
"Absolutely. NIce one, partner." He held out a hand for a fist bump.
Kiara bumped him. "We should get back to Alvay and Biana now."
((I think we're getting closer to the crossover!))

Corpes picked up the bag. "Good idea...if they're awake. Those guys are ALWAYS inactive when we need them!"

"Maybe we should wait till morning. Let's actually have a proper dinner!"
Kiara grinned. "Good idea." She pulls out a loaf of bread and dried meat.
Corpes laughed. "Let's hurry up to the room to eat these bad boys." Corpes races to the room with the food.
Kiara pulled her dagger out of the guards shoulder and quickly followed. She shut the door once they made it back to the room.
"Now we finally get to eat on this dining table, hmm?" Corpes laughed as he took out the food from the bag to the circular table.
Kiara sat down on the couch. "What's your favorite non refrigerated item in that bag?"
I pull out bread and peanut butter from the bag. "These! Hah! I actually MISS plain sandwiches like these!"
Kiara smiles thinking off her past. "I basically lived off peanut butter as a kid."
"Then I guess we're having sandwiches for dinner!" Corpes grinned. He was using one of his daggers--that were clean, mind you--to spread the peanut butter on bread slices.

((fiiiinnneee, be difficult))Kiara makes a sandwich and makes the sign of the cross. She folds her hands, prays silently for a moment, and crosses herself again.
Corpes stared at her in disbelief. And when she was about to open her eyes, he tried to mimic the cross thing, but poorly.
"I'm assuming you weren't raised religious." She took a bite of her sandwich.
"No...the witches were black magicians that despised God. And the witch hunters that killed all my friends were self-righteous monsters..." He gripped on his sandwich hard.
((Note: God is great. It's just where he's from, he sees God as a terrible leader that lead the witch hunters to his friends and killed them all. Supposedly, in the final act of his series, Deadeye would accept God as his lord and savior))

((that makes sense.))Kiara looked uncomfortably at her own sandwich. This was awesome. What else would she want to do with the remainder of her day, besides discuss religion with a boy raised by witches.
He coughed a bit.
"But...I'm perfectly cool with you being religious. It sort of makes me think Christians aren't SO bad..."

"Not all of us burn down orphanages full of poor boys." I take a bite and smile. Peanut butter was not easy to find in a collapsed society.
