Kiara stepped out of the shadows. "I do." She pulled it out of the sheath she had strapped to her waist. "You're going down princess."
Deadeye turned around. "You fool! I said run!"
Kiara smiled sadly. "I'm not leaving you Corpes, not now, not ever." She held the sword up. "Shall we princess?" Variana raised her own sword. "We shall."
"But--!"
"What? Come on. Don't be an idiot. Of COURSE as tough as me. I've never seen another girl as tough and violent as you are."
He said that last night. And he didn't lie. He trusted Kiara. With all his heart.
She was his most trusted companion. Sorry, Vincere.
"Good luck." Corpes said, stepping behind Kiara.
"What? Come on. Don't be an idiot. Of COURSE as tough as me. I've never seen another girl as tough and violent as you are."

She nodded and stepped toward Variana. "May the best girl win." Variana laughed and swung her sword. Kiara parried and blocked it just in time. The sounds of steel hitting steel echoed in the tunnel. Kiara sliced downward and Variana rushed to block it. "You think you can beat me? I'm the best swordsman in the world!" She struck downward and Kiara barley stopped the sword in time.
"Swordsman? Swordsman?! You're a dude?? Yuck!!" Corpes said, trying to throw off Variana's game.
((Is swordswoman even a word?))Variana hesitated for a moment, which gave Kiara an opening. She swung her sword and sliced the princess across the arm. Variana howled in pain. "You'll pay for that wretch!" She stabbed downward and missed Kiara by inches. "If you would hold still this would be so much easier" the princess smirked. "Well, it wouldn't be much of a duel if I didn't move now would it?" Kiara swung by the princess' head and chopped off a curl or two. The princess shrieked in rage.
(Well, if there's a policewoman and a firewoman, then why not a swordswoman? It was supposed to be a stupid joke, anyway,))
"You've got her, Ki! Keep at it!" Corpes cheered on the sidelines.

((I thought it was funny))Kiara and the princess swung at the same time and their swords collided. Sparks flew as metal hit metal. Variana pushed and Kiara shoved back. How was she going to beat her? An idea flashed in her head. She turned to Corpes, "I'm sorry." She pulled back her sword, which caused Variana's to slice across her middle. As Variana tried to gain control of her sword, Kiara swung hers at Variana's legs and knocked her off her feet. Kiara flipped the sword around and smacked Variana's head with the hilt. Her eyes rolled back and Variana fell unconscious. Kiara laughed in shock. She had just won the duel! Then she looked down at herself and realized she was bleeding very badly. She dropped her sword and sank to the ground.
"KI!!" Corpes rushed to her side. No, no, no! Deja vu, yet so much worse.
"No, no, no..."Copes held her, looking down on her wound.

"I did it" she whispered. "I beat Variana." She smiled and winced. She touched her hand to her chest and it came back covered in blood. She looked up at Corpes.
((now I'm trying to come up with a say to save her...))
((Corpes could save her like before...just more painfully. I was thinking about this method for Biana's leg.)

"I know, I know, and you did great. But you're a mess right now...I'm gonna have to do something we're both gonnna hate, okay?"
((my hero))"What are you going to do?" Her voice was very weak and her blood was starting to pool around her.
"I'm going to hurt you. And it's going to hurt a lot to you and me. But stay alive. I need you. Please stay the toughest girl alive. Please." Corpes' left hand created a ball of dark energy with an aura of dread.
She nodded. "I trust you." She closed her eyes and prepared for what was going to happen.
Corpes slowly put the ball into the wound, and as soon as it made contact with her, it was like she was shocked by lightning. Nightmares would play in her head. Everything will go dark for her, and all she could've heard was Corpes saying, "Please stay alive! Stay with me! Stay with me!"
The nightmares were vivid and dragged her down inside her mind. She fought to stay up. She fought and fought, using her energy to stay afloat in her sea of nightmares.
Corpes let the darkness swim into her for a bit after the ball disappeared, and then he put his mouth on her wound and sucked on it, drinking the wonderful deliciousness of insanity. Soon, but slowly, Kiara could feel the nightmares disappear.
((Hey, I'm sorry I didn't respond last night. My kindle started acting weird and then I didn't have an internet connection so I couldn't get back onto Goodreads.))Kiara could see everything getting lighter. The nightmares were starting to fade away into wisps of thought. The darkness wasn't so tangible anymore. She could feel the wound in her chest starting to close up.

Kiara slowly opened her eyes and looked down at her chest. The wound had completely closed and now all that was visible was a long scar. Kiara looked up at Corpes face. "Thank you."

Kiara hugged him tighter. "You'll never lose me." and she meant it.
He hugged her for a long time, softly crying, and eventually, it went into sniffles. "We best go. It stinks in here."

*Alvay hugged Biana tighter. The dream terrified him a little. Could that be true? And more importantly did she still have her power? He re played the words that she said to him, in his head. That’s when he realized that she said, she wanted Me back more then ever.* “Hey! I’m here. No one is ever going to take me away from you.”
*Alvay kept Biana in his arms. Letting her tears fall.*
Biana sobbed and held tight to Alvay, “I hate my powers. I wish I wasn’t cursed with them, I wish I hadn’t killedmy brother or 11 people, I wish…” she stopped and cried some more.
“I know. Can I ask you a question. Do you still have that power?”

Biana looked into Alvay’s eyes, “Yes, but I wear these gloves.” She showed the gloves she was wearing. “It doesn’t look like it will do much, but these are very powerful gloves that can prevent that.”
“That’s with the gloves. I wondered why. But it’s ok! I trust you not to hurt anyone.”

Biana smiled, “Really? You trust me? No one has ever said that to me in awhile. Not even my parents trust me very much anymore.”
*Alvay smiled back*“Yep! I do! And we are going to figure what happened to you back then. I already have a guess though, but it’s going to be hard to do it.”
