Character Castle 1.0
Alex watched as Angelina performed her own spells. So Alex wasn't the only wizard here. That was....annoying, but Alex knew she was still a great dueler. She had to have been....what with taking down Voldemort, and Souron, and....No, she wasn't going there right now. She shook her head as if to dislodge the memory and started fidgeting again.
He rolled his eyes, a ghost of a smile appearing.
"Pleaaase give me some water."
"Pleaaase give me some water."
Jade took the cup, their fingers brushing.
"Thank you miss."
"Thank you miss."
Alex looked over at her. "Because I hate being alone" she muttered. "Bad things happen when......" She shook her head and looked away.
Jade raised an eyebrow, curious.
"When?"
"When?"
Alex nodded uncomfortably. She pulled her legs up and wrapped her arms around her knees. "Have you ever had to be the leader?"
Jade put a comforting arm around Angelina.
Alex looked down. "I was....I had to be the leader of the whole army...and I was afraid, so....I ran away by myself....and then....they found me..."
He pulled Angelina into him, hugging her.
"I'm sorry...both of you."
"I'm sorry...both of you."
Alex kept going. "I was stupid to run away alone, of course the enemy found me. I was up against a cliff, Voldemort, Souron, Morgarath, were all there. They threw curses, daggers, swords. I fought back as well as I could, but.....I'm weak by myself....Then Michael showed up. He defended me and....." She broke off and wiped her face. "They threw him off the cliff" she whispered.
Jade felt bad for Alex, but was too focused on comforting Angelina.
Alex looked over at Angelina and felt bad for bringing it up. Now all she could think about were Michael's scream as he fell......it was her fault.....she knew it. Alex wiped her face off and headed for the door. She pulled out her wand and slipped into the hallway. No way was she letting anyone see her cry again.
Jade rubbed Angelina's back, and looked at her.
"You okay?"
"You okay?"
Jade hugged her close to his chest.
"Shh. It's okay."
"Shh. It's okay."
Jade didn't know what to do, so he just hugged her close to himself.
"It's okay, you're fine." He stroked her hair gently.
Alex stared around at the walls. They were covered with dark spots that looked...splattered. She walked over to examine them.
"You are. No matter your past..I'll love you and be here with you." He kissed her gently.
Alex looked closely at the dark red stains. They were more then just stains....they were....blood stains. She jumped back, disgusted and horrified. "What happened here?"
KC wrote: "“Your name is..” she said quietly, looking at him for a moment. “Jade. Yes.” Suddenly, it looked as if it had all come back to her, and she looked away, embarrassed. “Sorry. I...” Her voice trailed..."
"I know.." He'd done the thing many times. "It's okay."
"I know.." He'd done the thing many times. "It's okay."
Jade traced the scars softly with his finger. His brows furrowed, anger boiling.
"Who did this to you?"
"Who did this to you?"
Alex finally noticed something in the corner of the room. It was a skeleton. It was sitting right next to a big hole in the floor. She looked in the hole and almost barfed. It was a mass grave down there, with bones helter skelter all over the floor. She covered her mouth at the smell and moved quickly away from it.
"Turn back around." He smiled sadly at her. He wanted a better look at the scars, becauze they almost looked like his.
"You're not alone anymore, I'm here. I won't leave you."
He ran hisnhand down the scars, frowning. He tapped her shoulder for her to look at him again. He lifted off his shirt, and set it aside. He spun around, showing her long jagged scars down his back, and knife cuts along his side.
Alex was sitting in a corner trying not to freak out....or throw up. She breathed slowly and kept her hand over her face, trying to unsee what she just saw. "Why oh why oh why?" She questioned herself. "Why....did I have to find more?" It was like the time she had found the graveyard....in the woods....to find...NO. She bolted upright. "No, no, no! You can't think about it anymore! Okay!? Its in the past, the past doesn't matter! All that matters is.....is..." She quieted down. What did matter anymore?
KC wrote: "She turned back around to look at him and saw his back, which was also laid with scars. She sat there, silent, as she looked at them, not knowing what to do. Finally, she reached her delicate, pale..."
Jade's pusle quickend at her touch.
"See. You are not alone." He reached up and held her hands.

"I have no clue." Jade grabbed his shirt and pulled it back over his head. He smiled at her, and took her hand.
"We should probably go find her. Make sure she isn't up to anything."
"We should probably go find her. Make sure she isn't up to anything."
He quickly followed her, looking around.
Alex just sat, horrified, and sad. Trying to not think. She gripper her knees and tried not to look in the direction of the skeleton.
Jade saw Alex, before he saw the skeleton.
"What did you do?" Jade scowled, she probably did one of her silly tricks.

He took a step away from her.
"What did you do?" He asked again.
"What did you do?" He asked again.
Jade raised an eyebrow.
"Oh really?"
"Oh really?"
Jade ignored her, and strolled over to the skeleton.
Jade frowned, and walked out of the room, saying over his shoulder.
"Be careful with her."
"Be careful with her."

Jade watched both of them, and gave in.
"Give me some water."
