Good to hear. I couldn't resist this one.

I think the Flavia de Luce series is a great one to listen to!

Cheryl A. (teddi1961) Thank you, Jaxsmom! I have the first five eBooks from the Dog Club Mysteries series by V.M. Burns on my Kindle Tablet! I love her writing style!

Also, I can get all of the Flavia de Luce series from my local library in Large Print! I am so excited about the November readings!

I've been at my dad's the last three months and we've been taking turns getting sick. So this passed right by me. Would one of you like to pick?

Hmm if no one else picks how about Rest Ye Murdered Gentlemen by Vicki Delany Rest Ye Murdered Gentlemen (A Year-Round Christmas Mystery #1) by Vicki Delany and Murder At The Palace by Margaret Dumas Murder At The Palace (Movie Palace Mystery #1) by Margaret Dumas ?

Paranormal and Christmas!

What about this? I know December can be a very busy time and we might not have as much time for reading.

I found Christmas Card Murder (A Lucy Stone Mystery, #26.5) by Leslie Meier with three novellas by Leslie Meier, Lee Hollis, and Peggy Ehrhart. The stories may not be the first in each series, but I don't think they'll have many (if any) spoilers for previous books. The book's on KU, and my library carries it in print, on hoopla, and overdrive/Libby.

The second book would be your choice of a favorite or new-to-you Christmas cozy book or anthology. It doesn't have to be Christmas - it can be another Winter holiday or a winter setting. You'd tell us what it is, why you liked it, and maybe introduce a new favorite to others.

I like it! I actually have a Christmas anthology on my December reading list so it would be perfect.

Alice | 756 comments I think we need the new topic started and new cover added to the thread.

Oleander | 81 comments I don't want to rock the boat, but I was wondering if there is anyway the series could be selected sooner? I would prefer to have a heads up about the series of the month instead of finding out at the last minute. I hope to join in more on the reading and discussions next year.

Unless the selector forgets, it is generally posted around the middle of the month prior (December's series posted in mid-November, for example). The problem usually arises in the months when nobody has volunteered to choose series to feature.

We can't forget that jaxnsmom is dealing with long-term covid symptoms and has a hard time getting online on a regular basis.

Oleander | 81 comments I didn't know that about Jaxnsmom and send best wishes for complete recovery.

Thank you Oleander. I have fallen behind on so many things in my life, I feel like I'll never catch up. Going to get some posts and such started now.
