M.F. Aidoudi | 19 comments Do you think the hate purebloods have towards muggles can be justified? if let's say the wizards were once very abused and demonized by muggles, building the hate inside the wizards' heart at that time which they passed to the children and so on.

Chloe Kay (dancingqueen57) | 7 comments I would say yes. We don’t know much but we do know that witches and wizards have a bad reputation with muggles. They were most likely mistreated and had to go into hiding during times like the Salem Witch Trials. We also know from The Tales of Beedle The Bard, witches, wizards and muggles used to live together peacefully, then as times went on witches and wizards were taken advantage of. I believe the battle between wizards and muggles was because of the rising tension between the two sides. After the battle, most pure bloods still held a grudge with the muggles. This is the reason wizards and witches went into to hiding and the muggles no longer know about the wizarding world.
