Then he grimaced, his back was killing him, "I could use some help with my back."

"I'm here, what happened?" Veronica hugged him. "You were attacked by the werewolf and Ryenna had to fix you up."

she showed him the scratch on her face and he pieced it together. "No" he whispered. "I'm fine now, Teddy mixed the antidote and I'm already in stage two." She coughed again.

There was too much blood in one place, and it was making him think of that awful day. Over and over again.
A phantom headache pounded and he could see the fuzzy memory.
Balorico sent a jolt of energy through the mind link and Kilied jumped, flashing back to reality.
Nausea roiled in his stomach.
Why?
"Glad to see you're awake," Ryenna said to Tyler. "I almost thought I wasn't going to be able to work my magic."
She glanced at Kilied, her eyes fraught with meaning. Kilied cocked his head and squinted.
Definitely not from Arctashia.
Anyone who called elven powers "magic" were either extremely uneducated, extremely stupid, or from a different world.
As Ryenna was clearly not either of the first two, she'd never been to Arctashia.
He smirked, shook his head, and looked away.
Veronica looked like she was going to be sick.
Kilied sighed.
He was too.
What a merry group they made.

Kilied shrugged. "I wasn't paying attention. I'm going to leave before your greenness makes me sick," he added.
He stood and walked away from the group, trying to block out the scent of blood and sweat and pain.
It didn't work.
He was standing in the middle of the courtyard, watching as Halaron desperately froze the air around the mortal wound. There weren't enough of him. People were dying and screaming and bleeding. Kilied was frozen, about to faint from the smell of blood.
Who knew a Fringe tear could be this caustic.
But it was. The half of the people not bleeding out were poisoned, vomiting everywhere, screaming in pain, unconscious.
200 people died. And Kilied did nothing. And it was all his fault.
Kilied pulled up short, his insides roiling. The flashback faded, but the image was burned once again irreparably into his mind's eye, and he pitched forward, vomiting.
Balorico appeared beside him.
"Happens too often, Comrade."
Yeah. It does.
Kilied felt hopelessness weigh in the pit of his stomach, mixing perfectly with the vomit and sickness and nausea.
He hated his life.

Also, poor Killied))"
((LOL ALL OF MY CHARACTERS IN A HAPPY LITTLE NUTSHELL THOUGH))

Teddy's back was feeling a bit better now that it was stitched up and he had some pain killers. He had a new type of pain now. Guilt.
He glanced at Veronica, who was now happy with Tyler, but in pain because of the silver antidote that he'd made.
"I'm so sorry." he whispered, even though he thought no one had heard it.

"I'm glad you're okay," he said to her.

“Well, let’s see what she looks like.”
*She uses her bow to push the girl over on her back. And study’s her face. What she see surprises her!*
“Oh. My. This is an Elf. And She’s wearing the clothes of my tribe Linith. But I don’t recognize her. Why is she here?! Why is one of my own people here!?”
*she slowly sinks to the ground. Stunned at this discovery.*

Teddy rested as well. He'd been through a lot in the past few hours, too much. He leaned against the wall and shut his eyes, hoping for a peaceful sleep.
He got everything but that. His sleep was filled with nightmares. Werewolves, blood, magic. He woke up to beads of sweat on his forehead.
He reached back and felt the stitches on his back and winced.
"What are we going to do now?" he said in a quiet voice. "We didn't just come here to get injured and watch each other suffer, what was the purpose of this?"

What do you think?”
