Jade took the bottle from Inara and squatted beside her.
"You have to put it at the right angle."
He showed her, and handed the water back to her.
"Here, see if you can get it." He gave her an encouraging smile. She reminded him of his sister.

Veronica leaned her head into his shoulder. She decided to tell him the truth. "I really, really like you Jade."
Jade turned towards her, moving some of her hair behind her ear. He stared into her eyes, lovingly.
"I know. I really like you too. It's only been a few days, but I just..." He hesitated, figuring out how to phrase it. "I love you..." He waited, struggling to slow his heartbeat.

Jade leaned his head towards Veronica's but stopped at the sound of Ian's voice. He quickly pulled back, and got up to walk towards Ian.
"How are you feeling? We don't know what happended, but I gave you something to help heal you."

Veronica was confused about why Ian was looking at her like that. 'What?' she mouthed when Jade wasn't looking.
*Inara saw that Ian was awake. She slowly made her way over to him.*“Hey! I’m glad you feel better!”
