Mary Beth | 974 comments Good Job Laura! Thats a lot of work. I love my library. I go there at least twice a month. I love the suspense. I did read two fantasy books this Month. Magic Bites and World After (Penwyn and the End of Days. I love my mysteries and thrillers though.

Everyone is doing so well! I'm so jealous. Only caught up on two series so far this year. I really have to attack my one book remaining list head on!

It is hard, it seems like series keep getting longer and longer. Also each week there are so many tempting new releases, it's impossible to resist them, for me anyway.

I'm right there with you Lauren. I've only finished two series so far this year. It seems like many of the series I'm reading are very long.

But you are all making headway into your series! We're going to reach those goals by year end!

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) | 2447 comments For the past few years I have been wanting to read Robyn Carr's Grace Valley trilogy but have been stalling on it. I thought I would read one book a month but instead I managed to finish all three books in less than a week (thanks to doing 2 things at once, lol).

I worked on Easter Sunday for 5 hours on my own (clearing out the book chute at the library) and then spent most of Monday baking and cooking lol.

Thanks. When i read books from my own shelf instead of new books from library, i find authors I havent read in awhile, even though they arent series book, it is nice to read an author you love and having read in a while.

You are doing so well, Viki. It's always good for the budget to read books we already own.

message 199: by Renee (new)

Renee (pontiacgal501) | 46 comments I'm hoping to finish the Cedar Cove series by Debbie Macomber next month and catching up on the Women's Murder Club by James Patterson by the end of the year. I only have one book to read in the Cedar Cove series and I'm currently on #11 in the Women's Murder Club. I'm going to try to catch up on the Women's Murder Club series by the end of the year but I have 8-10 books on my night stand that's calling my name!

message 200: by Mary Beth (new)

Mary Beth | 974 comments This is a huge accomplishment that I did this month. I have never binge read a series before and I started three series this month and binge read them and am now up to date in these three series.

DCI Matilda Darke Series by Michael Wood
For Reasons Unknown
Outside Looking In
A Room Full of Killers

Promise Falls Trilogy by Linwood Barclay
Broken Promise
Final Assignment
Far From True
The Twenty-Three

The Forgotten Files by Mary Burton
The Shark
The Dollmaker

The thing is I loved all three series and really enjoyed it.
