okay so uh basically, quick recap:

we kinda mini-trauma bonded a few months ago. we chatted obsessively online, sat together at lunch, talked constantly, shared very deep stuff, etc.
then out of the blue they like stopped responding the same way? like she responded to messages with short answers and ended convos quickly, and so insecure me made the stupid decision to message her asking if i was annoying, and basically they said yes, and to stop talking to them so much.

this like........... destroyed me from the inside out so i just never messaged them again and didn't talk to them for a while. then we started talking casually irl again, ((but there was no way i was gonna be the first to message them after they said that))

now, at school, we're in the same dance class, we walk to the class together every single day, she always touches my hair, tries to start conversations with me, they started messaging me again, sometimes i lay on the floor and they lay next to me ((like REALLY close)), they always sit next to me, they like touch my clothes and sometimes randomly hold my hand and look at my nails, they say things like "ur rly hot" "u look good" "ur hands are rly pretty" ((those are exact quotes)), i also know for sure that she's gay

well it seems like flirting, doesn't it? except for the fact that in general they're a very touchy person, and all the queer ppl in my grade call each other hot and jokingly flirt with each other. plus, pretty much all my friends happen to be very good manipulators, so i constantly wonder when/if they're manipulating me, so it could also be possible that they're just manipulating me and leading me on since they know how i feel.

so uh yeah- I'm stuck and don't know what to do about this, any advice? like at all? i literally just want anything, id be fine with something like "just flirt with her and see what happens", i;ll literally take anything, i need help
