Re Why We Sleep - Thanks Jen, good to know!
I can also recommend Remember: The Science of Memory and the Art of Forgetting by Lisa Genova. It was a surprisingly breezy read (on Audio read by the author), and it included a chapter on sleep - which is needed to prevent/postpone Alzheimer's.

Why we Sleep is very good! Science written in an accessible way which can be applied to pretty much everyone I've ever known. Especially in our high stress world and as we get older.
