B for Ballgown done, but I read instead of The Unflappable Miss Fairchild.
They both have ballgowns on the cover & I needed a book with a yellow cover for another challenge..
Finished Y (for yarn). A good story, but not quite as entertaining as the first in the series was. I'll still read the next one, though :)Death of a Crafty Knitter (Stormy Day #2), by Angela Pepper, finished 4/26 ★★★.5
Still looking for D
I'd love to take F for Father with Ramona Y Su Padre by Beverly Cleary, if that's ok. But it's a Spanish book and an English word, so I'm not sure. The next letter would be G, if that works. I'll wait for direction from our fearless leader.
(I typed "earless" the first time. lol)

Thanks!
Finished G for graveyard and really enjoyed the book. Can't wait for the next in the series :)Murder Most Grave (Granny Reid #4), by G.A. McKevett, finished 5/3/22 ★★★★

I can take N for Night with
, The Splendid and the Vile: A Saga of Churchill, Family, and Defiance During the Blitz by Erik Larson.Might take me awhile!
Next up: O
I listened to that one not long ago, Karen, and liked it enough to hate having to stop the audio to do things like sleep :) Well, it's hard to say you "liked" a book about war and all, but Larson does a great job of drawing you into the world he's writing about.
Just finished M for math and was pleasantly surprised at how "readable" the book is. We loved watching the author when he played football at Penn State, and followed his NFL career out of a sense of duty (neither of us like the NFL team he played for lol). He earned a lot of respect from a lot of people when he retired from the NFL after just three years. I could go on, but I'll just say I'm glad I spent an Audible credit on this book :) Mind and Matter: A Life in Math and Football, by John Urschel, finished 5/4 ★★★★
Still looking for O
I can take O for Ocean with
by Helen Russell. They lived on the coast, so that blue should be an ocean, not a big lake. Next Up: P
