Adding a cover to a new book

I cannot find any link to add a cover to a book I recently added - Field guide to lesser known spooks and magical beings.

No option to add an image comes up when I edit details, only metadata questions.

You only have a very short time after creating a record to edit the details.

If you can upload the cover to you additional images section of your profile or a link to a valid website we can grab the picture from. Upload is better since sometimes it is hard to find a valid site.

Then post here with the book link we can take care of it.

GR authors aren't allowed to delete covers, because it is against policy to change/remove covers of published books. Please see post three of the Authors FAQ for more information.

However, as this book isn't yet published, I have updated the cover for you for the paperback edition.

Also, for future reference, it is forbidden to upload covers in the "additional photos" section. This area is for other book photos that may be of use, like the back cover for instance.

am a Little confused I placed the new cover in my photo sections because I thought a librarian had directed another person to due just that... see message above Message #2 by Phillip... That's the reason I placed it there..

Where do I find a section called Additional Images? Otherwise the image can be found here.

Philip was refering to your personal profile, not the book!

To find this section, go to your profile then click on the link that says "more photos" under your profile picture. Then, on the right-hand side, at the top, there's a link which says "add more photos". Once you've done that, we can then go to your profile to find the image, or you can add a direct link to the image in a post here.

Please see my message above (#7) for info on the "more photos" section where you can upload photos too.

As that's a publisher's site, I've added the image from there.
