people who are nonbinary can identify as trans, as well as people who were born into one body but know they are another gender.
i'm not a trans dude, that's one of the things i know for sure about my gender identity.
i honestly don't know if demigirl falls under the umbrella of being trans: according to dictionary.com trans simply means "denoting or relating to a person whose sense of personal identity and gender does not correspond with their birth sex."
so i guess i could fall under the trans umbrella?

the thing is that gender identity is different from sexuality. people's gender identity is not necessarily correlated to their sexuality!
me personally, i'm bisexual, so i love guys and girls :)
of course, though, there are demigirls who are lesbian, pansexual, and everything else!
