Need Help Finding Book - Urgent

The book is about a young girl who lives with her little brother and mother in a trailer park. Her mother jumps around abusive boyfriends so they can find a place to live. The girl is not doing well in school until a teacher tells her to suck it up. The girl joins a debate club and performs well. I also remember that the girl works at a pizza place and her little brother almost gets hit with a car. lol. Thanks for the help!
