thanks so much for stepping up Jennifer. This challenge helps me to get to some of the cheap kindles (often cozy mysteries) I keep grabbing up.
I would give it a go Emily, I find this one of the fun challenges, I am to read one a month, but think I'm only at 11 this year, so that's a fail!

The year isn’t over yet! :-D

I’m going to try! Already shuffling through what books I have to see if I have the color matching! But just a thought…. Does the color on the cover have to be entirely that color or can it have a small amount of it to pass for the challenge?@Desley-No, it’s not a fail! We still have 18 or so days left in December-you can do this! 🐾

Even a small amount will count ;)

That is a good point, it looks like I may have to find another book to read this year, so I will search out one that fits the colour challenge, thank you :-)
Question-Do the books have to be different from the ones you list in your other challenges or can you use them as well for the color challenge? 🐾
No, just as long as it is a book, doesn't matter what other challenges - I personally like it when a PIFM book helps with the colour challenge :-)
Desley is right -- I shamelessly use books for multiple challenges and encourage you do to that with this one! :)
Thank you for taking over for Jackie. Sorry to hear that she has had to step aside but look forward to continuing on with this challenge.
Great idea to have the colours chosen for the whole year. Makes planning what to read a lot easier. Many thanks Jackie for your hard work in keeping this going in the past and thanks Jennifer for taking over the challenge :)

Thank you, Carolyn!
Hi, I want to play this challenge, too. Do I just make a thread for myself? (to post my colorful books TBR in 2022)?(Edit: I ended up making a thread to post my books... Let me know if I shouldn't and I'll erase it.)
You can have a thread for this if you like. No worries. I keep a spreadsheet with ten prospective picks per month myself!
Me neither, I just track it on my spreadsheet, but no reason not to if someone wants to. If you keep candidates there, you *can* just cut and paste them in when the time comes. So there's that.

We will be continuing the monthly cover color challenge here at OTSP. Jackie is stepping back from hosting it because she has other commitments on her time, so I'll be hosting it here. However, Jackie had already come up with some excellent color choices for 2022 and we'll be honoring her hard work on this challenge over the last several years by using her 2022 rainbow.
There are no page requirements, and you can read any or all of the posted colors for the month: the only requirement is that the covers of the books you choose have the monthly color on them.
Here are the 2022 color choices!
January - White or Dark Gray
February - Rust or Pink
March - Spring Green or Lemon
April - Tangerine or Lavender
May - Blue or Brown
June - Green or Silver
July - Yellow or Fuschia
August - Red or Black
September - Lime or Purple
October - Orange or White or Black
November - Teal or Gold
December - Sky Blue or Khaki
