H.J. Peterson | 18 comments So, I'm working on the final draft of a WW2 novel, and I'm looking for some betas. I've gotten good reviews so far, but everyone who's read it so far has been a friend of mine, and I can't help but wonder if they're saying that it's good so they won't hurt my feelings or something. I'm looking for someone who'll be honest about their opinions on my story, and I'm looking to help others improve their stories. I'll read most anything, as long as it isn't erotica. PM me if you're interested!

I'm interested and able to give an honest evaluation without being unkind, afterall writers have feelings too.
My ms is 86k, a crime/thriller/romance with an international setting.
I could start on yours immediately, and am looking for one on mine quickly as well.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Mark

The first draft was a little over 90k and it's a spy story with a little romance.

Harry Pye (harharpye) | 13 comments I'll bite. I have some pretty extensive familiarity with WW2. Besides reading huge amounts of history, I was the lead writer / story designer for a very successful WW2 videogame franchise.

No swap required, but I do have a 65-70k MS that's close to complete. It's a light pop-psych satirical adventure. (~ Kurt Vonnegut Jr, Max Apple)
