Started this year off in Italy with House of Gucci: A True Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed. Lets see where I end up next.

Next stop was United Arab Emirates with The Flight Attendant. Gave it 5 stars.
Enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Loved the character Cassie even if she was a hot mess. The twists and turns kept me entertained.

I watched two or three episodes of the TV series and kind of enjoyed. I may have to check this out.

Next stop was Sweden with A Man Called Ove. Gave it 5 stars. It made me laugh, cry and jump for joy.

Next stop was Poland. Lilac Girls, gave it 5 stars. Definitely one of the more gruesome accounts of what happened at concentration camps during World War II that I have read, but it a story that needed to be told. The author has a way of taking you on a journey with the characters through out the novel and make you fall in love with the characters.

Next stop was Kabul, Afghanistan. , gave it 5 stars. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end.

Next stop Slovakia. , gave it 5 stars. A wonderful story about resilience and love. It showed the true strength of humans to survive under the worst conditions possible. The story flows so easily that you are able to feel like you are on a journey with the characters. It is amazing that these people were able to endure what they did and come out of it with each other. Definitely recommend this book.

Next stop was Transylvania, Romania with , gave it 4 stars. The ultimate vampire book that set the foundation for future books and movies. The story was mysterious and horrifying.

Ending the year visiting the Hunan Province, China. Completed . A beautifully and memorable story about a life long friendship and loss. The book was a little slow to start of and that is the reason for the 4 rating. It is very informative about the life of women in China.

Just realized that I read back in November 2023, visiting Venezuela.

Visited Papua New Guinea with , gave it 3 stars.
To me it was an ok book. I have enjoyed books by Lily King in the past but this one just seemed to drag on and at times was confusing as to what was going on.
