Everyone interested in historical fiction should really look forward to The Reindeer Hunters by Lars Mytting. I struggled through it in Norwegian a while ago, and it’s absolutely fantastic.

It’s the sequel to The Bell in the Lake, and will be published on March 3rd. Read the first book while waiting if you haven’t done so already. It’s equally fantastic.
