(view spoiler)[This may sound like a weird question, but what Christian denomination are you in? Are you a protestant? I just noticed because of the "I have been a Christian since I was 6 (that's when I got saved)" part. I'm just wondering. I don't have any problem with Christians fyi (I'm a Christian myself, though I'm a Catholic; Catholics don't believe in the whole 'I'm saved because I'm baptized thing' hence why I noticed it). On my blog I discuss various topics. I do reviews (mostly book reviews, though I do have a couple TV show reviews), personal posts (related to my life as a disabled teen/teen who's chronically ill/teen with juvenile arthritis/teen with autoimmune disease), I also do art-related posts, and posts about real-world disability topics. Mostly my posts are about whatever I want them to be about, hence 'musings' being in the title. I'm a very eclectic person lol XD
I started it in March of this year. I've posted a total of 80 posts. Feedback is encouraged =)

I am Baptist. I don't personally know the differences between the denominations, but I believe that I am saved when I say the prayer. :)

Ah. Okay. Makes sense. I don't know a lot of the differences in scripture. (view spoiler)[I know that Baptists don't believe in baptizing babies (I was personally baptized as a baby as I'm Catholic). I know that Protestants don't really revere the Virgin Mary as much as Catholics do (and they also tend to hold an extreme dislike of Catholics). I also know Protestants do a lot of music worship stuff. Catholics don't do that. Our churches are very different. Catholics don't believe in the saving bit. We believe that baptism gets you closer to Heaven, but there are a lot of steps that have to be taken throughout one's life. The only thing I know of that leans more toward 'saving' in Catholic belief is Confession. Also, which prayer? The Lord's Prayer? (hide spoiler)]

Ahh. I don't remember anything like that being in Catholic doctrine. The closest is maybe Catechism stuff
