The Bachelor Team Challenge - Round 7 - Teams Assigned!
I am in can captain if absolutely necessary but with my MS I would like a person willing to step in when I don't have the energy.
Katie wrote: "Can someone explain to me how to show the page count? Is that like a screenshot required or something? I am newer to GR."I just ask that you include the first edition Kindle page count in your completion posts - just type it in. I would check to make sure it is the right page count, if not I would ask for it to be corrected and reposted. No screen shot necessary.
So many first time players!Everyone, even if you've played before, please make sure you read through the opening messages in this thread!! There are changes this round - with the rules and the timing!!
I'm in but not for captain. Warning to my potential team. I'm not a speed reader but will read at least one book a week if not 2.
I've updated the participant list in message #8. Please let me know if I missed something!Truitt_T, I added you though you commented in the Q&A. 😊
Katie wrote: "Can someone explain to me how to show the page count? Is that like a screenshot required or something? Go to format just under the publication date and you can search by Kindle edition, for this challenge it's always the first kindle edition you want to use.
Please sign me up. It's been a long time since I've joined a challenge and I'm really looking forward to it
Just wanted to say that I love this challenge but I'll be going to Florida for 3 weeks in January with my husband, one of my daughters and two of my grandchildren to visit my sister, brother, and a lot of nieces and nephews so it would be unfair to my team, I think, because I would have a very difficult time having the time to research the books. I'll be sad to miss this round.Have fun everyone!

I'm going to give this a try! My first time doing this challenge, so probably should not captain... compulsive list-making aside, I am going to start slow! *grin*

I have entire google sheets dedicated to tracking my reading and challenges that I am in. It includes my TBR along with things like character names and jobs and locations and even tropes....I'm a bit obsessive about stuff like that.

I will miss this round but I'll be looking forward to the next one!

I have listed the captains, so far, in message #9 and have the team threads open. You can go reserve some messages for tracking at your convenience. Teams won't be posted until after signups close tomorrow. Thank you all for volunteering and as much or as little as you can do is appreciated! It is as helpful to have someone double checking me as it is to be able to use your tracking to figure things out if I get lost in my tracking!!
Now that we’re getting closer, I’m absurdly excited to find out what team I’m on. I’m really looking forward to this, MKat!
Claire wrote: "How do I sign up for the challenge?"You just say you want to participate. 😊 I will add you unless you tell me otherwise.

In the Main page of a book, beneath the blurb or precis there will be a page count written - Kindle or ebook - number of pages.
Below that you can click on the editions link, which will show you the total number of editions of a book. Among that find out the Kindle 1st edition and corresponding number of pages.
