I think my least favorite of the year was The Foxhole Court. There's other books I find more annoying, but this was the biggest letdown. I had heard that it was a gay sports story with a mafia element that isn't opposed to touching on darker themes and a cast of lovable characters, but what I got instead was the blandest writing I've ever read, characters who were boring at best and insufferable at worst, (view spoiler)[ the only canonically gay character in the book (since the Neil/Andrew relationship happens much later I guess) DRUGS Neil and then kisses him TWICE without his consent (hide spoiler)], and there was like no plot. I genuinely have no idea how this series has such a big fandom. I wrote a big rant on it too lol
