Yes, I think I need to read this one! I enjoyed "The Chosen" so much, and I'd like to see how things continue with the characters in this story. I'll mark this one down for May! :)
Mary, you are in the right place. Now you can tell us what book you want to read, and those who want to read too will speak up.
Sara wrote: "No problem, April. In Buddy Reads we read anything and everything."Oh, I was just curious about how to categorize it for my tags. Lol Unfortunately, I cant seem to find this Franz Kafka collection at my libraries. Is there... I mean, I dont suppose there is anything more specific i could search? They have some of the novels, but not this specific title. 😕
This is the version of Kafka my library has. Will this work? https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
Here's another version of the Complete Stories of Kafka (published by Schocken), ISBN 978-0805210552:https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...
It has a list of the stories in the Goodreads blurb.
Many of the stories can also be found online. If you google "antilogicalism.com kafka" you will come to most of Kafka's stories.
Everybody still in for Witches of Eastwick. I have started and am enjoying it so far. If there is still interest, we need a folder for discussion. And I have my copy of Women Who Run with Wolves as well.
I will be setting up new threads either later this evening or tomorrow, Sam, but both are on the schedule.

The group read Cannery Row in early 2024, and now a few of us would like to read the sequel Sweet Thursday. If anyone is interested, please mention when the best time would be for you. Months are filling up fast already, and I'm thinking maybe summertime?

Yay! This gives me a chance to catch up with The Chosen between now and then. :-)
