How's everyone going with this challenge?

I've got a fair way to go but I seem to be reading all my "blue" and barely any of the others... who knew there are just that many blue covers!!!

I have only read 2 of the 27 books I ended up planning. I am currently reading the third, but it is noticeable that I have made very little inroads into this game. Partly because most of the books planned are not crossovers with other games. I am thinking that this will be a challenge I might carry over into next year.

BTW 10 of those remaining are red covers, 7 are blue and 6 are yellow.

I'm on 18/33. But yeah, most of those are blue! I recently realised i wouldn't just come across the others in my regular reads, so I've now properly planned all my number card options and know what i need to read.

I've read 7 of my 20 planned, but I might have a few more that I haven't checked out yet. Interestingly, my required colors seem to be pretty evenly distributed. Of the seven that I have read, one was a wild, one was blue, three were green and two were read. Unlike you guys, I am having a really hard time finding blue covers. It seems that every cover that I think is blue actually comes out to be a combination of blacks and grays with a little bit of blue, but not enough to make the % threshold. The same is happening with yellow and browns and tans. Red tends to have a lot of pink in it, but I have managed to find some covers with enough red. Green however, doesn't seem to be a problem for me, lol.

Wow. It took me a long time to get to the end of this book. Not because it was boring but because it is so confronting to be faced with the reality of our countries border 'security' measures.

A blend of first hand narrative, Kurdish literature, journalism and poetry - this book is a must read for any Australian before being able to contribute to the conversation of refugee rights and Australia's border policies.

I started with 12 cards and finished those and added another 12 cards for a total of 24. I have finished 16 cards out of 24. I started out small and then added a few here and there that way it wasn't set up for disaster. And changed my books as I went. Yellow has been a hard color for me.

I am quitting on this challenge. That is a formal decision that I have been toying with all year.

I do not intend to finish it at a later date, either.

I had 27 books originally planned and have only been able to read 7. This game just is not happening for me. I have to face facts. I cannot do all games!
