Henry Dotson | 2 comments Greetings Friends,

My name is Henry and I'm very excited to be a part of this group!
My wife Vanessa and I recently published an inspirational, non-fiction book entitled, “From Zion to a City of Hope”. The book is about our cancer journey from diagnosis to remission. I'm looking forward to more interactions with the group and perhaps even feedback on our book or a review or two. Check out our blog too!

Hi Patrick,

Welcome to our Book Club! That's a good question about what constitutes a good introduction. Here at Christian Nonfiction Lovers, authors like you can introduce themselves and their books to us using the Author Meet & Greet threads (for new releases, older titles, review requests, etc).

That said, the best way for authors to introduce themselves here is to participate in our "self-promotion free zones." Give us a sense of who you are, your interests, and which Christian nonfiction books by other authors that you'd like to discuss.

Think of coming onto our group boards as if you're entering an in person social situation where you don't know many or any people yet. Engage in existing conversations. Show an interest in who others are and what they think. Ask questions and chime in on our discussion threads. Allow us the privilege of getting to know you as a person by the ways you interact with us.

I hope these tips help, Patrick. We look forward to getting to know you.

All the best,
Susan
