LOL, it looks like yours isn't set up to receive messages either - strange! It should work now if you try to send me one.
Ha. One can never be too safe. I still can't get a message through. Maybe it's my fault. If you fire off a message to my email (larryumblaut ... at ... yahoo ... daht ... com), maybe we can communicate. Your story looks interesting.
Hi there Courtney, I would like to read your manuscript and swap. Mine is a 85k YA thriller. If you're interested, send me a message and I can share the blurb. Thanks!

Misha is offered the position of a lifetime on an isolated island in the Norwegian archipelago working under legendary climate researcher and her personal hero, Dr. Anderson. The position offers the perfect escape for Misha and her tumultuous life back home in Canada.
The high arctic is a frigid, barren, and unforgiving place and Misha quickly learns that the polar night is darker and more intimidating than she ever could have imagined. But through Dr. Anderson’s guidance and the friendship of the station’s two polar bear researchers, Misha finds a sense of fragile peace. However, the arctic is not a peaceful place, especially as the world is warming and mother nature grows restless.
When one of the team members goes missing, a group of determined polar bears closes in, and an intense winter storm looms, the team’s only goal becomes to make it off Kaldøya alive. A task that seems impossible given the freezing temperatures, all-consuming darkness, and lack of communication with the mainland. Misha’s past catches up with her and she begins to question her own mind. As the team fights for survival, they come to realize, the most dangerous predators are the ones you don’t see coming.
If this sounds like a good fit please send me a DM :)
