Lorraine | 57 comments I'm just wondering if it would be possible to flip the order of the weekly posts, so that the current week is at the top. In other words, right now the first weekly one is Week 1 and to find everyone's posts about their Week 6 books we have to scroll down. At the moment it's only slightly annoying but I imagine that in another month or so it will be a pain, never mind by September or October. lol

If the current week was at the top then we could scroll back if we wanted a past week but the current one would be easier to find.

Or, if that's not possible, is there a quick way to navigate to the current week's folder?

Thanks. :)

Lorraine | 57 comments Oops, probably shouldn't have posted this in this section. Sorry about that. :p Maybe it should have been in "off topic"?

Goodreads groups are not easy to manage sadly. We discussed about putting the current week on the top, but we can move folders only step by step or directly to the bottom or the top. I let you imagine the fun when we'll have to replace week 30 at its place...

You have a link to the current week on the announcement header (if the link doesn't send you to the right place, feel free to send me a message to remind me to change it).

We'll see later if we have to change the way the group is displayed and it will be easier when we'll have less work with the topics management ("Title by Author" doesn't seem obvious and we link the book for each topic when it's not done, so it takes time).

Lorraine | 57 comments hahahahahahaha at me. I knew that you added the current week announcement at the top (and thanks for that, because I can never remember) but I didn't realize it was a link! lol

That helps because I can hop to the current week then scroll from there if I want a different week.

Thanks for answering though. I figured there must be some Goodreads board reason that it couldn't be done. :p

I didn't realize it was a link either. I found that if I minimize the topics/weeks that have already gone by, they stay that way the next time I load the group. A little less scrolling :)

(I'm updating this since some weeks and didn't realize too it was a link...)

What do you think about underlining it? Maybe it will be more obvious?

Lorraine | 57 comments Christine, thanks for that tip also! I didn't realize that little arrow to the left of the title was a minimize button. lol.

Can you tell that technology isn't my strong point? :p

and eta: Even better, not only can I minimize all the previous weeks, but I can also minimize the later weeks, leaving only the current week opened. Excellent tip! :)
