Kim and Bryant are called to the scene of a gruesome murder where the body is later identified to be that of Keith Phipps. It’s evident that he was ruthlessly tortured and died in extreme misery. What came to mind in that moment?

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) That they have a particularly nasty serial killer on the loose. And the torture was medieval so the killer must be knowledgeable and quite well read in this area.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments My first thought was Keith did something terrible to the killer's family or someone close. I didn't understand the reason behind the method at this point, but I did hope there wouldn't be any more.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments The torture made me think of retribution for something that Phipps had done in the past.

Lynn (ftbooklover) I agree that my first thought was that Phipps had done something horrific to a member of the killer's family.

I agree with all of you. I was so certain Phipps had done something to earn this torture.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments I definitely though revenge because of the heinous torture.
