Though I've about six pages left to go, I did learn the perp's identity and wow, I didn't see that coming at all!
Poor Henry! How awful it is for a person to be wrongly charged with murder. Good that that got straightened out.
Ditch the column, Eloise. You are not Super Woman! More from me tomorrow.

I finished a day ago and was surprised at the ending. Though I don't know how we could have figured that out! And it seems Eloise now has help with the column!

Yes, 'tis is a surprise, Pghfan. And she does have help so I guess she can handle it. :-)

What do you think of the end of story recipe? Sound good? Would you make it?
Easy for sure but I'm not sure-- Then again, most of the "Yum" is already in the pumpkin pie. Anyone trying it?

I'd probably try it but I always forget to take screen shots of recipes in books. I have to remind myself for next time.

Yeah, I passed on it, PugMom, as before I knew it, Christmas was being served up before we even left the Thanksgiving table.

1. Henry didn't write the note.
2. Leonard's own brother didn't even like him.
3. Steve had something to do with Henry's disappearance.
The actual solution came as a surprise to me - I was fairly confident that Steve was involved, but the story behind Juliet's reasoning is really sad. Now, not only will her son's life be turned upside down due to a likely parenting reveal, but his mother will probably be going to prison - and he's only 12!
Did anyone else wonder how Eloise in going to have all this free time to write the Miss Smithers column since she won't have to spend all her time coming up with ways to get guests to the inn when she'll actually be spending that time (and more, most likely!!!) actually taking care of said guests???
