The day after Toby and Reggie had sex for the first time, he told his best friend. Someone overheard them and spread it around school, embellishing it quite a bit. That’s why she broke up with him. He left town soon after because his father attacked him and he feared he would eventually kill Toby. He landed in Austin but a girl he had a relationship with in Dallas, Anne, arrived with 3-month old Harrison, saying she wasn’t cut out to be a mother. She dumped him on Toby. Judy came to help for awhile and making home pies was the idea born from their dilemma. He sold to construction sites until he saved enough money to buy a food truck, which blossomed into his now big business.

Toby’s ex-fiancée Lori abused his son Harrison by always locking him in a closet whenever he was away. It’s made Toby quit dating and looking for a committed relationship.

Adriana was 5-months pregnant with their son when she died in the accident that also severely injured Micah.

Electra lied and came to Wishing Tree while Micah was still in Los Angeles. She told Dena she’d been sent by him to pick up his things as he was going with Electra on vacation. Micah came back, cleared things up and asked Dena to marry him.
