December 2021 Group Read #2 - Desperation

First time reading this and a little more than halfway through... WOW! This is such a wild novel, I'm loving it! I wanted to finish this before tonight but I don't think I will, LoL I'm 52% in and have about 300 more pages to go...

Save it for the weekend LTJ, when I rush late I forget little bits, but that's just me so I often have to re-read fresh in the morning. There's still a lot going on :P

I agree with Kasia LTJ, don't rush. This one is too good, you have to savor it man!

@Kasia: LoL exactly what I'm doing! I never rush read for the exact same reason as now I plan to finish it BEFORE I return to work on Monday :-)

@Sally: For sure! This is such a great book, I'm hooked beyond belief and am savoring it like a hot cup of coffee at 8:00 AM during a snowstorm as I read...

Happy New Year, I totally missed the fireworks, we've been trying to solve a Lego glitch on a model we're building and were so wrapped up we missed the clock haha.

A little later than when I wanted to finish this one but nonetheless... AMAZING! Finally finished it I loved this novel, gave it a 5/5 as the characters, horror scenes, and everything else in between made this such a great read. LoL I felt it was a lot more than 600 pages but I enjoyed every moment of it as the ending was also great!

@Kasia: Yes! It was a 4 all throughout and I only give a perfect 5 if the ending is satisfying and makes me go ZOMG which in this case, it definitely did. I'm still curious as to HOW certain things happened but that's the beauty of ending things the way that they did.

This book had so many creepy/shudder moments, I literally had my jaw on the ground after many situations and scenes in Desperation. Bring on The Troop!
