Diane Moseley | 2644 comments We Are Not Exempt From Life Problems. -Are Christians supposed to have problems? Are Christians supposed to suffer or should they be exempt from problems? Bad things happen to everyone. A car accident, illness, financial trouble, job loss, divorce, and so on. We know God can turn a mess into a message, a test into a testimony, a trial into a triumph, and a victim into a victory. “remember, life happens for us, not to us.” Sometimes it's hard to believe that things happen for a reason. We might not realize it but it does. And they do. It prepares you for what’s to come, it makes you more resilient, and perhaps the Lord desires to build your faith in Him and your character through that problem and God will strengthen you to overcome your problems. In the midst of challenges that we may face, God wants us to rely TOTALLY on Him.- 3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.-Romans 5:3-5 28 And we know that God causes everything to work together[a] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.-Romans 8:28 33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”-John 16:33-DIVINE WORDS BY DIANE.
