2 stars Taken from the back of the book." Sarah Grayson is the happy proprietor of Second Chance, a charming shop in the oceanfront town of North Harbor, Maine. At the shop, she sells used items that she has lovingly refurbished and repurposed. But her favorite pet project so far has been adopting a stray cat she names Elvis."
Ok, I must admit I picked up the book because of the cute cover and bought it after reading the back cover. I love shopping for antiques, at second-hand shops, and looking around for refurbished and repurposed items so the book had my full attention.
The story is good but slow-moving, the cat character is a delight to read about but other characters are either dull or not developed enough. I had a hard time keeping focused, it was a little too amateur sleuthing for me.
