Is anything really rude depending on perspective?

Hmm, logical reason varies from person to person, so techincally there is no answer then, right?

message 53: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (happysadmel) how do know there is no right answer?

message 54: by stuti (new)

stuti (stuts) | 83 comments I agree, what do others think tho?

message 55: by emily (new)

emily | 18 comments right, but from time to time there's a clear wrong, right?

message 56: by Anshika (new)

Anshika Yeah, for example don't you think Hitler, Taliban are absolutely, completely wrong?

message 57: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (happysadmel) they are living in their own minds and unfortunately think they are right for doing horrible things, do you think bad people are born evil or is it the way they were brought up?

message 58: by emily (new)

emily | 18 comments no, no ones born evil, and don't the people we think are wrong think that they're right?

message 59: by Anshika (new)

Anshika Don't you think some actually know they're wrong, like serial killers but take pleasure in seeing others tortured?

message 60: by Anshika (new)

Anshika (side note: I saw this YouTube Short about a nurse who exchanged 5000 babies in all her career. She knew she'd doing wrong, sure just wanted to play 'God'. So, most people do know.)

message 61: by Anshika (new)

Anshika (ignore the typos, using phone)

There must be a few, right?

message 63: by emily (new)

emily | 18 comments ig so, but aren't they doing wrong things to feel right?(she wants to feel like god-> does the baby thing bc its the "right way", dunno if that makes any sense haha)

message 64: by Anshika (new)

Anshika Are we talking about feeling right or morally right?

message 65: by Samiksha (new)

Samiksha Bhattacharjee (samiksha23) | 22 comments In any case, don't yiu think their perception of 'right' is wrong?

message 66: by Anshika (new)

Anshika Of course most criminals feel right committing the crime, that's why they do it but don't you think most KNOW they are wrong? Don't you think most understand that killing is wrong?

message 67: by stuti (new)

stuti (stuts) | 83 comments No, has anyone else?

message 68: by emily (new)

emily | 18 comments idk, can't something be wrong and right at the same time, in different ways?

message 69: by stuti (new)

stuti (stuts) | 83 comments it can be, it's usually rare though, i think?

message 70: by emily (new)

emily | 18 comments I think if u see everything from different perspectives, it could be a pretty common thing, couldn't it?

message 71: by stuti (new)

stuti (stuts) | 83 comments i guess it could, what do others think?

message 72: by Ari (Head in a Book), Head Mod (new)

Hmm I think depending on perspective, thats what matters right?

sephora ౨ৎ⸆⸉ (godblessthishotmess) | 46 comments sure, because i dont know the context, but do you?

message 74: by taylor reynolds (new)

taylor reynolds | 89 comments i think it all comes down to your definition of what’s right and wrong, don’t you think?

message 75: by emily (new)

emily | 18 comments u cant never, not really, can you?

message 76: by Anshika (new)

Anshika I think we all want to live in the perfect world- the utopia, but utopia can't exist, can it now?

message 77: by taylor reynolds (new)

taylor reynolds | 89 comments But wouldn’t it be amazing if it did?

message 78: by Anshika (new)

Anshika Can we achieve Utopia in the future, like in a century or two?

message 79: by stuti (new)

stuti (stuts) | 83 comments I don't know, but it doesn't scare me either. Does it scare anyone else?

message 80: by Anshika (new)

Anshika Not scary but sad. There's the entire world out there I'ven't seen, dreams I'ven't realised. Doesn't anyone else feel the same?

message 81: by stuti (new)

stuti (stuts) | 83 comments I agree, but is there life after death?

message 82: by stuti (new)

stuti (stuts) | 83 comments I think so too, but anyone could argue otherwise, don't you think?

message 83: by Anshika (new)

Anshika Dumbledore said: Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living and above all those who lived without love. And there doesn't exist a quote I agree with more.
That's why I'm sad not scared.

Religious philosophy is the last thing I want to discuss about, does anyone else want to talk about it?

Anyone have a good book recommendation?"

Are you into fantasy? If so, have you read Six of Crows?

message 85: by Anshika (new)

Anshika How dare you not read SoC yet? Do you know it's a masterpiece?

Anshika How dare you not read SoC yet? Do you know it's a masterpiece?

message 87: by stuti (new)

stuti (stuts) | 83 comments I want to read SoC, is it actually good?

message 88: by Ayesha (new)

Ayesha the Great 🍉 (Barbie's Version) (ayeshathegreat) | 20 comments It is! Six of Crows is incredible! The plot and characterization is immaculate, especially the establishment and the overcoming of the characters' traumas. I also love how the novel defies many prominent YA tropes, as the story features a diverse cast (in terms of race, body type and sexuality), and does not try to brush aside their flaws, choosing to address and correct them instead. Nobody is ever shamed for their identities. The romance aspect was also handled really well.
Is this convincing enough?

message 89: by stuti (new)

stuti (stuts) | 83 comments Wow, you definitely put a lot of effort into this! I am definitely going to read this! What do others think? How did Ry do?

Thanks! SoC is one of my all-time favorites, so it was really difficult to type coherent thoughts and not just "OMG i love this to bits you are my everything I would die to be a part of this I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!"
It took me about 2 hours to look at this book-and my reading experience- rationally

message 91: by Anshika (new)

Anshika And why wouldn't you answer the question with a question, Ry?

message 92: by Ayesha (new)

Ayesha the Great 🍉 (Barbie's Version) (ayeshathegreat) | 20 comments Anshika wrote: "And why wouldn't you answer the question with a question, Ry?"

My bad. Does this make up for that error?

message 93: by Anshika (new)

Anshika Ahh I was just kidding, did you take me seriously?

message 94: by Ayesha (new)

Ayesha the Great 🍉 (Barbie's Version) (ayeshathegreat) | 20 comments Anshika wrote: "Ahh I was just kidding, did you take me seriously?"
How did you know?

message 95: by Anshika (new)

Anshika I'm sorry if I hurt you. Are you still angry at me?

message 96: by Ayesha (new)

Ayesha the Great 🍉 (Barbie's Version) (ayeshathegreat) | 20 comments No no, I wasn't angry at all! Do you feel better?

message 97: by Ayesha (new)

Ayesha the Great 🍉 (Barbie's Version) (ayeshathegreat) | 20 comments We're talking about that comment above, aren't we?
(I swear I didn't mean to be aggressive or anything like that)

message 98: by Anshika (new)
