Liz M 10.1 - Rants and Raves:
Read a book for which a member posted a review in the Fall 2014 or Winter 14/15 Challenge in completed task threads.

10.2 – Women's Lit:
In honor of Aphra Behn, one of the first English professional female literary writers, read a book from the 50 Most Influential Books by Women or a book from Flavorwire's Girl Canon.

10.3 – Borrowing from the Mods:
Read a book from the "Read" shelf of one of the group’s moderators with a read date prior to Mar. 1, 2015. This task may be repeated but you must "borrow" from a different moderator every time.

10.4 – Scrabble!
In honor of National Scrabble Day on April 13th, read a book with a 7-letter word in the title.

10.5 - Nebula:
In honor of International Astronomy Day, April 25th, read a novel that has been nominated for or won the Nebula Award for Best Novel.

10.6 - Women's Ed:
In honor of Elena Cornaro Piscopia, the first woman to be granted a doctorate of philosophy, read a book written by a woman who has earned a doctorate (not an honorary degree). Please provide a link when claiming points for this task.

10.7 – Weird - Coralie’s Task:
Because I have strange reading tastes - Read a book that has been shelved as weird at least 5 times.

10.8 – title here - Cory Day’s Task:
I love listening to podcasts, but the book recommendations pile up. Reduce your own podcast-induced TBR by reading a book mentioned on one of the linked podcasts. When claiming this task, please provide a link to summary of the relevant episode that lists the title you chose.

10.9 – Tried & True - Karen Michele’s Task:
Read a book by an author that is "tried & true" because he or she meets the following criteria on his or her goodreads author page: Average Rating at least 3.90 AND at least 100,000 ratings.

Liz M 20.1 - Zola - In celebration of Émile Zola’s 175th birth anniversary on 2 Apr 1840, read a book originally published during his lifetime: 1840-1902.

20.2 - Series - In honor of the Les Rougon-Macquart series, read a novel from a series where the primary books in the series are narrated by/about a different main character(s). Ex: Game of Thrones, The Forsyte Saga, The Tudor Court series, but NOT Harry Potter. Series must be approved prior to claiming points for this task.

20.3 - Paris - In honor of The Belly of Paris, read a book set in Paris (at least 50%).

20.4 - Guardian - In honor of La Bete Humaine, read a book from The Guardian’s 1000 novels everyone must read.

20.5 - Germinal - In honor of Germinal, read a book from the top 100 Best Page-Turners with Redeeming Social Value list OR read a book containing mining or labor strikes as plot point.

20.6 - Crime - In honor of Thérèse Raquin, read a book shelved as Crime at least 150 times OR where “Crime” is listed as one of the genres on the book's page.

20.7 – Penguin - In honor of L’assommoir , read a Penguin-Classic.

20.8 - Spring Break! - Ed’s Task:
Read a book classified as a travelogue at BPL (Call number 910-919). Books not shelved at BPL will be considered on a case-by-case basis. OR read any book by one of these greatest travel book authors .

20.9 - Nameless - Kate S's Task:
Read a book with an unnamed narrator. Some examples can be found here.

20.10 - Canonical - Liz M’s Task:
Read any book written by a woman author on Harold Bloom’s Western Canon.
