Last Chronicle of Barset (possible minor spoiler)

I've spent the past week trying to finish the final 100 pages of the 'Last Chronicle'. The problem? I just don't want to finish the six novels. I've already said 'goodbye' to some old (and sometimes infuriating) Barset friends, and have just lost the old Warden himself. I just don't want to finish. Any suggestions?

It’s been awhile since I read it, and I’m sure I’m not going to be much help. I just think books/series have endings. Although not the same characters, of course, I think you will have the same reaction to finishing even Trollope’s stand alone novels. At the same time, I want to observe that Trollope rarely gives you unhappy endings.

And, of course, there is the Palliser series. You have already met Plantagenet Palliser, although only briefly. There is much to look forward to.
