Philip J McQuillan | 3 comments Hello. Sometimes I wonder if review for review is even a very efficient way to obtain reviews! Some of us, who have 10-50 reviews for our book might do better to swap reviewers instead of swapping reviews. Which one of us wouldn't like to have another 30 possible reviewers read our book?

You might have 30 book reviews for your book but none of them have ever read my book. I might have 30 book reviews in the bag for my book but none of them have ever read your book.

As an experiment, I'd be willing to let all my reviewers know about your book in exchange for you letting all your reviewers know about my book. One global e-mail (bcc'd to all to retain individual e-mail address privacy) to your reviewers/my reviewers would open up a lot of new possible readers and reviewers it seems to me.

Anybody interested in doing this please contact me. For me to also be interested, your book must have a minimum of 15 reviews and a minimum 4.2 star rating. Your reviews have to also have been more than just 1-3 line "blurb" reviews.

Brian O'Hare (brianohare26hotmailcouk) | 112 comments To Phillip. I would love to join in this experiment of yours. I have books that have the required number and quality of reviews but I have absolutely no idea how to get in touch with my reviewers. They appeared out of the blue, wrote their piece and disappeared just as quickly. How have you learned to get in touch with yours?

Hello Brian,
I see what you mean. You've got the best kind of reviewers — ones that read your book and reviewed it out of the blue – my reviewers on the other hand have mainly been people (such as Amazon top reviewers, review group participants) that I have had some minimal kind of contact with already and I've got their e-mail addresses.

Pretty much I have to look for someone that's in the same situation as I am where they have a goodly number of their reviewer's contact information.

My book (actually a small collection of my and other writers stories) is a nonfiction work that has a smaller reading audience than other more popular genres.

Just in case you are curious, it is a free book. Free in more than one way actually. Free to download and read and also free to submit your personal tribute story to. If a tribute is acceptably good, I'll publish it as a new Chapter in the book at no charge whatsoever. Take a peek at Write to Remember if you have further interest. Some readers have enjoyed it enough to — as you say – review it out of the blue also.

Thanks for your response Brian!
