"Astrid, the best thing we have to bandage up your wound is some socks and rope. Should we set booby traps throughout the labyrinth to get us some easy kills?" Hunter had, for the most part, dropped his cool exterior, and had flown into a panicked, survival-focused frenzy.( A list for myself: rope, knife, empty water bottle, night vision glasses, socks, 10 crackers, flashlight, magnets, fishing wire, super glue)
"Where is the stab wound?" He asked. "And why is that Chandler guy out for your blood?"
Hunter shone his flashlight on it, and sure enough..."Wish we had disinfectant. Or numbing salve. Or something," he muttered, as he pressed the socks into the wound and bound them sloppily with rope. "How many hours has it been?"
"Only? God, it's felt like longer. Which one of you has the crackers?"
"In my bag.." Astrid said, her knife was in her hand, not the bag.
"Okay. Keep them safe, they're our only food." He looked around. "How did they even get enough bones to build this labyrinth? Yes, from past Hunger Games, but there's only 23 dead a year, and this must be hundreds, if not thousands, of people's worths of bones."
"Yeah.." Astrid said, wincing.
'They kill all the rebels and keep their bodies. They also keep the tribute's bodies. The ones they send home or fake.' Ariana thinks, knowing it was true.

Hunter decided to change the topic to something less depressing. "So... booby traps? I mean, I don't see what else we'd need fishing wire for, though I don't think there are many other people in the labyrinth currently."

"NO." Ariana said, grabbing Astrid's knife.
"Jesus, fine. We'll be leaderless. Just don't be surprised at the chaos of anarchy. Now grab the fishing wire ."
"We are not leaderless. Astrid is still leader." Ariana says, grabbing the fishing wire and throwing it at him.
“But whose going to be the leader when we go on missions and she has to stay back? Exactly, me.”
"No. You are not a leader." Ariana said.
"Well, you seem pretty... uh, let's say meek, which means the position falls to me."
"No.Next District over. You're what District 7? I'm district 2. 2 comes before 7."
"The whole thing! Everyone likes 2s more than 7s."
“Excuse me, did you just f*cking insult my home district? You have thirty seconds to take that back or this is getting real ugly.”
"I've got the knife! And I wouldn't try me. I can be pretty feirce." Ariana said.
"Uh-huh? Sure. I can fight without a flimsy knife."
Ariana glares. "I'm boss and that's final." She says.
"Oh, stop pretending you're strong. Astrid knows how weak you are, too; that's why you stayed behind when we went to the Cornucopia. You probably die in one hit."
"If you're going to insist on being so difficult, maybe we should end our alliance!"
"Fine! We never liked you anyway!" Ariana said.
“Nor did I like you!” And with that, he stormed out, grabbing his backpack.
Astrid grunted. "Wha--?"
"It's fine, that jerk is gone." Ariana said.

Astrid screams, "No! The pain is too much!" Then she dies.The cannon goes off.
